This mechanic returns in Hades 2, though the requirements are not available until later in the game. Late in Hades 2 , players will be able to unlock the Insight Into Offerings incantation . Along with every boon offered in the game, players will be able to see the requirements for all Legendary and Duo boons. Generally, before these boons are available, players will have to acquire the prerequisite boons.

Legendary Boons are generally seen as the ultimate boon offered by each god in Hades 2. They are designed to compliment the boons offered by their god, often adding a unique skill that bolsters or enhances the build. Players will usually have to accept multiple boons from the same god before their Legendary becomes available. For this reason, it is very hard to get Legendary boons early in a run.
