The initial game has a sizable roster filled with fan favorites from multiple different Gundam anime. Still, there is an endless sea of possible newcomers that could also make their way into the competitive shooter that many fans wish to see added to Gundam Evolution.

The Full Armor ZZ Gundam is a mass of power and destruction. It is equipped with several upgraded weapons, such as double mega beam cannon and the waist-high mega particle cannon, each with enough destructive power to take down a mobile suit in one blow. The Full Armor ZZ Gundam was upgraded from the enhanced ZZ Gundam and would make an excellent frontline addition to Gundam Evolution.

7 Hazel TR-1 Custom

Appearing only in the Advance of Zeta original manga story by Satoshi Konno, the Hazel Custom was a grunt mobile suit that fought on the front line piloted by Wes Murphy, a member of the Titans test team. The Hazel is a thick armored mobile suit equipped with moderately damaging weapons.

It also boasts increased mobility thanks to its shield boosters, making it tougher and faster than stock model mobile suits. The Hazel excels as close to mid-range combat, similar to the Zaku II in Gundam Evolution, equipped with an XBR-M84a Beam Rifle and Long Blade Rifle.

6 Char's Zaku II

Char's red Zaku II is one of the most iconic mobile suits in the Gundam franchise. It is a little surprising that it did not release as an original roster suit alongside Amuro Ray's RX-78.

Char Aznable served as the main antagonist of the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime and remains a dominant force through every Gundam series, game, and timeline, even after his disappearance during a final battle with Amuro Ray. Char's Zaku II has no significant differences from regular Zaku aside from unique tuning and modification to accommodate Char's piloting skill.

5 Slave Wraith

The Slave Wraith is a prototype mobile suit piloted by Travis Kirkland, first appearing in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Missing Link video game. The Slave Wraith was developed from the Ground Gundam type that appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team animated movie. In Gundam Evolution, the Slave Wraith would be similar to the Pale Rider mobile suit.

The Slave Wraith was designed to exceed the limits of the base Gundam ground type with more durable armor, higher mobility, and deadlier weapons. The Slave Wraith is equipped with both a high-intensity beam rifle and a magnum machine gun, a missile pod launcher, and a beam saber for close combat.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The With From Mercury tell a unique story akin to other Gundam series like Build Fighters and Mobile Fighter G.

With the new series arrives a new Gundam in the form of the Aerial, a masterpiece forged by the great minds of the sacked Vanadis Institute and fully realized by Prospera Mercury and her daughter. The Aerial is a technological force of nature. It has a transforming shield called the Escutcheon, which can elevate the offensive and defensive aspects of the Aerial. In addition, the Aerial is equipped with beam sabers and a beam rifle that doubles as a beam blade.

3 Gun-Ez

The Gun-Ez is a grunt mobile suit that first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam Victory anime series. In the series, the Gun-Ez is a supportive mobile suit mass-produced for the members of the shrike team, an all-female team of mobile suit pilots that serve the Earth Federation.

There have been many pilots of the Gun-Ez who have more than proven the effectiveness of the suit on the battlefield. Being equipped with a Beam Rifle with an increased rate of fire, a beam bazooka, and multi launcher, the Gun-Ez is equipped to handle a multitude of situations.

2 Hyakushiki

Char Aznable played an interesting role in the Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ anime and infiltrated the Earth Federation forces as Quattro Bajeena. Char fought alongside Kamile Bidan long enough to take control of the Titan's mobile suit unit and steal the RX-78 II Gundam.

While undercover, Char piloted the Hyakushiki Mobile Suit. The Hyakushiki is a powerful mobile suit equipped with a number of unique armaments, such as the Ballute Entry system: a flying platform that the Kyakushiki can fly around on.

1 Gouf Custom

The Gouf Custom is an iconic mobile suit in Gundam history for its legendary appearance in the Mobile Suit Gundam 08TH MS Team movie. The Gouf Custom was the first advisory that Shiro Amada faced off against, as it appeared without warning and cut down multiple earth federation pilots in the blink of an eye.

The pilot of the Gouf Custom was Norris Pacard, who wielded the Gouf Custom effortlessly, fully utilizing its wrist-mounted rocket launcher, heat blade, and Gatling shield. The Gouf Custom would be a welcomed Mobile Suit to the expanding roster of Gundam Evolution and would presumably have a similar playstyle to Barbatos Gundam.
