The third character of Guilty Gear Strive's second season pass has officially been revealed, with Arc System Works adding a remixed take on a fighter from the past as its latest addition. The game has been a big hit for fighting game developer Arc System Works, becoming both a critical and commercial success. In fact, Strive recently arrived on Xbox consoles and the Game Pass this year, just in time for its eighth DLC character. This character is Bedman, who was previously playable in Guilty Gear Xrd and was a major character in that game, albeit under a different circumstance. This character was revealed at Arc World Tour 2022, which is one of Arc System Works' fighting game tournaments. The first season pass introduced a number of new and returning characters to the roster of Strive, including fan favorite characters like Baiken, Jack-O, and Testament. Similarly, previous characters introduced in Season Pass 2 were Bridget, followed by Sin Kiske, with both characters being returning fighters from the franchise. This iteration of Bedman however will not feature the character that was seen previously, but instead his sister, Delilah, will be the focus alongside his bed.RELATED: EVO 2023 Lineup Announced Featuring Street Fighter 6 DebutThe character is known as Bedman?, question mark included, to indicate that this is a different version of the character fans have seen previously. Unlike the Guilty Gear Xrd incarnation of Bedman, Guilty Gear Strive sees the bed frame itself being the weapon, though it has the same shape-shifting abilities such as turning itself into various weapons that can attack the opponent. This includes turning itself into a wheel, firing its head as a bomb, or using its dream-like abilities to fire energy blasts. The release date for "Bedman?" was also revealed as April 6th, 2023.

Arc System Works had previously teased Delilah's inclusion to the roster with Bedman-focused scenes that were from Guilty Gear Strive's Another Story DLC expansion. As Delilah was introduced as an integral character to the expansion as Bedman's sister, it should likely come as no surprise to see that Delilah being present. While previous datamines and leaks pointed to her being included in the roster, fans noticed that the bed itself seemed to be the fighter. This can be seen with Delilah not actually fighting and is mostly a visual element, implying that the spirit of Bedman himself is controlling the bed to protect his little sister.

Bedman(?)'s addition will also come with a brand-new stage, which is known as Fairy's Forest Factory, arriving on the same day. There is only one character left for the second season pass, which will be arriving in May. The teaser shown after this trailer showed that it will be Asuka, or That Man, a highly requested playable character for Guilty Gear Strive.

Guilty Gear Strive is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S.
