Now that Guild Wars 2 is available on Steam, even more players have the opportunity to explore its robust selection of customizable equipment. Some fans were able to recreate some of the most iconic Elden Ring bosses in Guild Wars 2 using the impressive array of outfits and options available to them.

The impressive character customizations were presented by Redditor DBKENNY on behalf of the United Arts of Tyria guild in Guild Wars 2. Together with two of their friends, DBKENNY brought Radahn, Malenia, and Godrick the Grafted from the Lands Between to the world of Tyria.

The characters, aptly named General Radahn, Malenia Blade, and Godrick the Grafted, are all expertly recreated using the customization options, armor sets, and dyes available in Guild Wars 2. General Radahn is a norn–a race of shapeshifting giants in Guild Wars 2–with a suit of armor that strikes the same imposing, iconic silhouette as the Elden Ring boss. Malenia Blade is a human sporting the Blade of Miquella’s iconic helmet and crimson cape from Elden Ring. Lastly, DBKENNY designed Godrick the Grafted as a charr, one of the cat-like creatures reminiscent of the Beast from Sleeping Beauty. Doing so allowed them to emulate Godrick’s hunched appearance and long, wild white mane perfectly.

DBKENNY had actually shown off their Godrick the Grafted individually a few months back. They took several shots of their design in a fittingly-spooky location in Guild Wars 2. This allowed them to showcase their armor from several angles, as well as the weapon used to emulate the Elden Ring boss’ massive greathammer.

As expected, both Guild Wars 2 and Elden Ring fans loved the work put into these characters by DBKENNY and the United Arts of Tyria. Players expressed their love for the designs, talked about their favorite memories of the bosses in Elden Ring, and made jokes about both games. The post even attracted the attention of GMMagister, a Guild Wars 2 developer, who shared their own design of Blaidd, another boss from Elden Ring.
