Grand Theft Auto Online has once again broadened its horizons thanks to the brand-new San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. Launching on June 13, the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC brings a huge amount of content to the game for players to enjoy.

Like many previous expansions to Grand Theft Auto Online, San Andreas Mercenaries can be quite confusing to players, given the scope of its involved content. From new weapons and vehicles to entirely new missions, there are a lot of new features for fans to get their hands on.

San Andreas Mercenaries: Mammoth Avenger Upgrades

The Mammoth Avenger plane is an integral vehicle to the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, being a main hub for a lot of the newly introduced missions. The Mammoth Avenger has been in GTA Online since 2017, meaning a lot of players may already own the impressive aircraft.

Due to its importance, the Mammoth Avenger is now easier to obtain thanks to San Andreas Mercenaries, now being able to purchase even if a player does not own a hangar to house it. The Mammoth Avenger now possesses a lot of customization options, and has had an Operations Terminal added to it. This Terminal will have to be purchased separately as an upgrade and is the main way for players to engage in the DLC's many new missions.

In all, the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC has seen 13 new missions introduced to GTA Online. The main bulk of these missions come in the form of Project Overthrow missions, with these being six solo or multiplayer missions that tell the main story of the new expansion. As well as this, three private contract missions have been added, known as Los Angeles Angels Operations. Both of these sets of missions are directly accessed from the onboard Operations Terminal for the Mammoth Avenger, typifying the importance of the vehicle.

Finally, the DLC has introduced four new Source Missions and three new Sell Missions for the Free Trade Shipping Co. mission hub in GTA Online. These new missions are a fantastic way to earn cash and exclusive outfits, making them a go-to experience for players hoping to experience the most out of San Andreas Mercenaries.

San Andreas Mercenaries: New Vehicles and Weapons

Like any GTA Online DLC worth its salt, San Andreas Mercenaries has introduced a huge range of new vehicles. The new Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT is one of the most impressive, being a supercar befit with tonnes of potential upgrades. The Maibatsu MonstroCiti has also been added, being a huge SUV that has a history of being advertised throughout past GTA games.

As well as this, the DLC has added the Declasse Walton L35 Vapid Ratel, F-160 Raiju fighter jet, Mammoth Streamer216 propeller plane, Bravado Buffalo EVX, Weeny Issi Rally, Toundra, Panthere, Karin Hotring Everon, and the Willard Eudora to its vehicle roster. The only new weapon to come with the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC is the Tactical SMG, which can be acquired from the in-game Gun Van.

San Andreas Mercenaries: Career Progress Challenges

The many missions that were added with San Andreas Mercenaries bring with them a spate of new Career Progress Challenges. These offer rewards in the form of unique cosmetics, be it clothing items or special finishes for vehicles. These include LS Angels merchandise and a unique livery for the Mammoth Avenger. Including four tiers in total, these challenges offer a great sense of replayability for the expansive San Andreas Mercenaries DLC for GTA Online.
