Grand Theft Auto Online remains one of the leading online multiplayer games, despite coming out nearly a decade ago. One of the main reasons for this incredible success is GTA Online's interactive open world that provides players with many exciting activities. Players can play different sports or drive one of the many impressive cars in Grand Theft Auto Online. Not only this, but gamers can also get their hands on cutting-edge defense vehicles like tanks, armored cars, helicopters, and even jet planes.

Because of complicated controls, some players find it challenging to fly a jet plane in GTA Online. In contrast, others have mastered the technique of piloting an aircraft with tremendous precision. These players often participate in various Grand Theft Auto Online events that require them to fly the plane under extreme conditions. Reddit user pubgnoob93 participated in one such event where players had to fly upside-down near the ground for the longest distance.

The user uploaded a video on Reddit that shows them leading the aforementioned GTA Online contest by a considerable margin. The footage shows pubgnoob93 flying a jet plane upside-down quite comfortably with a resounding lead on the rest of the competitors. Soon after, a supposed "griefer" shoots pubgnoob93's jet plane with two precise missile attacks, ultimately killing the latter. Next, pubgnoob93 was respawned and had to start all over again with only a few seconds left on the timer. The user also mentioned they had a streak of 9 minutes and 40 seconds before Walraven destroyed their plane.

As expected, the video caught the attention of the massive Grand Theft Auto Online community on Reddit. In comparison, some people were sympathetic to the person that shot the missile as they believe simply killing a player in Grand Theft Auto Online doesn't make someone a griefer.

Whether or not pubgnoob93 was griefed is a matter of one's perspective. Regardless, escaping a missile locked onto an airplane is nearly impossible in Grand Theft Auto Online. However, some players rarely manage to evade these, like the player whose jet escaped a homing missile in GTA Online in a close call. The said player avoided certain death only because the missile burned out before it could collide with the jet.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
