Grand Theft Auto Online has offered the first official look at its upcoming content update, Bottom Dollar Bounties, which is set to land on June 25. A brief video gives players an idea of what they can expect when they hit the streets as bounty hunters.

GTA Online has seen a fairly steady influx of new content over the years, giving players plenty of criminal enterprises to run and heists to go on. However, some fans still lament that the game never received the "Cops N Crooks" mode, which would have given players an opportunity to play on the right side of the law for once. While that mode was canned twice, this upcoming update will at least let players hunt down those violating the law for XP and GTA$.

Grand Theft Auto Online Temporarily Removes Content Due to Vulnerability

A popular feature in Grand Theft Auto Online is currently unavailable to PC players due to what could be a vulnerability in the game.

A new teaser from Rockstar Games has been released for Bottom Dollar Bounties, which gives players an idea of what they can expect when they get the update started. The player character promptly meets Maude Eccles and her daughter Jenette, who will be working with the player to help them find "all manner of reprobate scum" and bring them in for the bounties on their heads. Players may remember Maude Eccles from the game's Red Dead Redemption 2 crossover, which lets players unlock the Stone Hatchet in both titles.

The new trailer also appears to give players a brief look at the new missions with Vincent Effenburger, an LSPD officer who they will be able to do Dispatch Work for. These tasks will also let players access a variety of law enforcement vehicles to try out. Given that these tasks are described as being off-the-books, players should be able to expect to enact their typical level of violence to achieve the tasks set before them.

All of this new content will launch for the game on June 25, so players have very little time to wait for the update. It's part of an overall exciting summer for gaming, which has seen a number of new titles, as well as extremely anticipated expansions and content update releases across numerous multiplayer and MMORPG titles.

GTA Online Isn't Going Anywhere

Many players are anxiously awaiting more information about GTA 6, the next entry in the massively popular Rockstar Games franchise. However, the company has also made it clear that the online component of GTA 5 will continue for the time being, with new content periodically dropping for the game. For now, players should have plenty to look forward to by the end of the month.
