Grand Theft Auto Online has been going strong for years by offering players a massive variety of activities to take part in. Be it taking part in numerous high-stakes heists, building their own crime syndicates, purchasing cars and property, racing against fellow players, or just enjoying the open-world madness that is on offer, and there is an endless parade of content to catch players' eyes.
Players who wish to enjoy a more introspective journey can even track down the many peyote plants that are scattered all over the map. One of these plants can provide a unique gaming experience, as it will turn players into Bigfoot if it is eaten under the right conditions.
The Bigfoot peyote plant in Grand Theft Auto Online can be found at the base of Mount Chiliad near Grapeseed. It can be found growing on the side of the mountain, and when eaten, will transform players from their standard character model into a large sasquatch. It is not enough to simply eat the plant, and players will need to ensure they eat it between 3 am and 8 am, and must do so while the weather is foggy. While the time of day is easy to handle, the weather in Grand Theft Auto Online is trickier. Weather changes every 16 days, which is a little over 12 hours in real-time. Even then, it is impossible to know what the next weather cycle will be, so players will need to get lucky.
While playing as Bigfoot, players will be unable to drive vehicles or enter buildings, but they can still have a lot of fun. It is possible to swim, pick up dropped weapons and ammunition, and being Bigfoot also gives the benefit of super strength and an increased health pool. After being eaten, the peyote plant will take a day to respawn and can then be eaten again, but once again will only turn players into Bigfoot if the required circumstances are met.
After finishing up their adventures as Bigfoot, players can then get back to the main attractions in Grand Theft Auto Online, which is normally figuring out how to make cash fast, interrupting the fun of other players in the rudest way possible, or just heading out into the desert to drink some beers and crash some planes with their friends. Any time they wish to become Bigfoot again, players can return to the base of Mount Chiliad and eat another special peyote plant, as long as the time of day and weather is correct.
