The Albany Cavalcade XL has been added to GTA Online’s Chop Shop DLC content via the latest weekly update on January 11, 2024. A big 4-door SUV that costs a pretty penny, you can go for it if you want a shiny new car to add to your collection. It comes with some good handling and power, which make it a decent pick whether you want to drive around Los Santos or go off-road to hunt some game.

How to Get the Albany Cavalcade XL

GTA Online's Albany Cavalcade XL is modeled after the Cadillac Escalade V, and is a big 4-door SUV. Currently, there are two ways to get it : with GTA+ membership or without. If you have a membership to Rockstar Games’ monthly subscription service, you can get the car for free. However, you will have to pay a hefty price of $1,665,000 if you are not subscribed. The resale value comes at $999,000, although it can go up to $1,130,250 if completely upgraded.

Here are the steps to get the Albany Cavalcade XL in GTA Online:

Start up the Internet browser on your smartphone and head to Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
Click on the Featured or 4 Door category.
Click on the new vehicle (it will be the first one present).
Buy it at full price or free, and select the garage you want to store it in.

If you’re close by, you can also head down to the Vinewood Car Club and look for the Albany Cavalcade XL. From there, you can easily buy and take it for a spin.

When it comes to performance, the Albany Cavalcade XL comes with an 8-gear system and an AWD drivetrain. At 6,989 lbs, it is much heavier than the 5,291 lbs standard model. Although the real numbers from GTA veteran Broughy1322 haven’t come in yet, the car’s on-paper top speed is 75.81 mph (122.00 km/h). Since there’s quite a bit of difference between the two models’ gear system and weight, it is expected that the XL variant will be a bit faster.

Players cannot use this vehicle for Standard Races in GTA Online, and general friendly racing should be avoided as well due to its bulk and low speed. Nevertheless, picking it up for its stately looks, especially on GTA RP servers, is a good endeavor. The handling is also quite decent for an SUV, and it is durable as well.
