Grand Theft Auto 5 released all the way back in 2013, so it's safe to say that GTA fans have been waiting quite a long time for Grand Theft Auto 6. After years of radio silence, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is indeed in development. No Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal or release date is in sight, but insiders believe that the game could reasonably release either in late 2023 or 2024.
While fans wait to learn more about Grand Theft Auto 6, they have to do something to entertain themselves in the meantime. Some may continue playing Grand Theft Auto Online, checking out the new content that Rockstar adds to it regularly, and others may instead be revisiting some of their other favorite Rockstar Games titles. Others still have taken it upon themselves to create art theorizing what Grand Theft Auto 6 will bring to the table, with various GTA 6 map concepts posted online.
An older Grand Theft Auto 6 map concept is getting renewed attention online thanks to it being re-posted on Reddit. The original post was uploaded by user coryharris0715 back in 2021, and it shows their idea of what the GTA 6 map may look like. The GTA 6 map concept was well-received by the Reddit community, with the original post having over 2,000 upvotes and the re-post getting over 500 upvotes at the time of this writing.

Coryharris0715's GTA 6 map concept operates under the assumption that the new game will be set in the Florida-based Vice City. Rumors have persisted for years that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in Vice City, and for good reason. Besides the fact that reputable insiders have hinted as much, Vice City is just the next logical step for the GTA franchise. GTA's HD universe has already revisited Liberty City and San Andreas, so Vice City is really all that's left before the next major technological advancement.
While the running theory is that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City, there are other rumors that Rockstar Games may have even more ambitious plans for the next title in the long-running open world franchise. There are some rumors that suggest GTA 6 will have two cities for players to explore, with one being Vice City and the other being Liberty City. That seems a little too good to be true, though, so fans should certainly keep their expectations in check.
