The Minotaur Maze Key is an item in Grounded that players can use to open a chest that is at the end of the maze on top of the Picnic Table. While it is certainly not requisite that fans open this container, the BURG.L Chip that is inside does unlock some powerful rewards. This guide is here to provide more information on those unlocks, and it will also detail the precise position of the Minotaur Maze Key in Grounded.
Grounded: Minotaur Maze Key Location
Before players attempt to collect the Minotaur Maze Key, they should make sure that they have access to a Tier 2 blade that is capable of cutting through Soggy Roots. The Bone Dagger is likely to be the first suitable blade that players obtain, and it is crafted at a Workbench from two Diving Bell Spider Chunks, two Silk Ropes, and two Sunken Bones in Grounded. The Spider Fang Dagger is also capable of clearing Soggy Roots, though it is more difficult to make.
With either a Bone Dagger or Spider Fang Dagger in hand, players should make their way to the Exposed Pipe, which is situated over the very small body of water between Grounded's Sandbox and the Picnic Table. Fans can see the location of this pipe marked on the following map, and they should enter it upon arrival. After entering the Exposed Pipe, fans should travel into it more deeply to reach another cracked section, dive, swim to the Soggy Roots, and clear them to access the Minotaur Maze Key.
Grounded: Minotaur Maze Key Chest Location
As previously noted, the Minotaur Maze Key opens a chest that is in the gray stone maze on the Picnic Table. To reach this maze, Grounded players should use an explosive to topple over the Leaning Shovel that is near the southeast corner of the table. This action will allow fans to climb onto one of the Picnic Table's benches, and they should navigate to the bench on the other side before using the Cooler Box to finally reach the top.
It has also been noted that there is a BURG.L Chip inside the Minotaur Maze Key chest, and it is the Picnic BURG.L Chip. Returning this item to the Oak Lab will give players the ability to purchase a Food Stuff sign set as well as the SCA.B Scanner module that detects Milk Molars in Grounded. Additionally, fans that collect the Chip in the Minotaur Maze will unlock the Mint Mace, a powerful two-handed weapon.
