Upon arriving at the Oak Lab in Grounded, players will encounter BURG.L, a robot that will give fans access to ASL Terminals. These terminals serve as a source for quests that award Raw Science, and one such quest tasks players with completing the trail marker at the Great Oak Beacon. For those fans that may be struggling to address this quest, this guide contains details on the location of the Great Oak Beacon in Grounded and explains what should be done when it is reached.

Grounded: Complete Trail Marker at Great Oak Beacon

The Great Oak Beacon is situated slightly south of the Oak Lab and just northeast of the Old Anthill. Fans of survival games can find the precise position of this location marked on the map that is below, and they will encounter a tall outdoor lamp when they get to it. Notably, this lamp is brightly illuminated at night, making it quite easy to spot.

With respect to what players should do when they reach the Great Oak Beacon, there are a couple of thin twigs on its north side that can be used to climb to the bulb. There is a translucent blue shadow of a Trail Marker next to this bulb, and fans must feed two Springs, two Plant Fibers, and one Clover Leaf into it. Upon performing this action, Grounded players will see the Trail Marker materialize, and the Great Oak Beacon quest will be marked as complete immediately thereafter.

Before a player leaves the Trail Marker that is situated on the Great Oak Beacon, it is recommended that they interact with it and set a custom marker. Not only will this marker appear on the in-game map, it will also be visible when exploring the environment. Indeed, players will always know their relative position to and distance from the Trail Marker, and that can make it easier to traverse the dangerous backyard in Grounded.

To note, the Trail Marker at the Great Oak Beacon is certainly not the only Trail Marker in Grounded that players can build, and indeed there are more quests that center around establishing them. Players will also find Trail Markers within the Constructions category, which means that these structures can be placed almost anywhere. Locations that a fan wishes to revisit are great places to put down Trailer Markers, and the variety of available icons makes it easy to label them.

Grounded is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
