Grounded from Obsid ian Entertainment was finally released in 2022 and people can't get enough of the survival game heavily inspired by Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. The game provides a backyard sandbox where players try to survive, craft, and explore a relatively known territory that becomes unknown when they're shrunken down to the size of insects and other bugs.

Players learn to craft both shelter and food, with some of the more complicated crafting recipes providing big boosts to the survival gameplay. Smoothies are a delicious treat for regular-sized humans, but when shrunken down kids must resort to making them from bug parts and whatever else they can get their hands on.

8 Human Food

Grounded Smoothies Human Food

This, of all the smoothies, might be considered the most 'normal' concoction of the bunch. It's made of Fresh Apple Bits, Fresh Cookie Sandwich Bits, and Fresh Billy Hog Bites. Due to the ingredients used it is appropriately labeled as Human Food.

Crafting and consuming it imbues the player with additional damage resistance, which provides additional defensive measures that add on top of any equipped armor. The tan goo may not look all that appetizing, but at least players know they're not sucking down a mixture of bug parts and dirty vegetation.

7 Gastro Goo

Grounded Smoothies Gastro Poop

Gastro Goo sounds less like a smoothie and more like the result of someone eating too much Taco Bell, but it's much more useful than its name would suggest. There are plenty of treacherous areas in Grounded where the player needs to come prepared if they wish to explore and survive effectively. Making one's self immune to gas damage can be critical in finding a new discovery.

It won't be easy to make the Gastro Goo smoothie, though, as players will need to gather Stinkbug Gas Sacks, Fungal Growth, and a good amount of Aphid Honeydew. Gas works like a poison in the world of Grounded, and it's something that can catch new or unfamiliar players off guard, and before they know it they succumb to the toxic fumes secreted from the various tough bugs in the yard.

6 Liquid Gills

Everyone isn't equipped with the ability to swim underwater for extended periods of time. In Grounded, being able to explore what lies under the surface of the water can open up new crafting, discovery, and survival opportunities. By combining Water Flea Meat, Raw Tadpole, and Eelgrass Strands players can mix them together to craft a smoothie aptly named Liquid Gills.

It allows the player to breathe underwater, which is much easier than trying to shrink scuba gear or finding a really long straw or tube of grass to try and accomplish the same feat.

5 Hedge Lord

Grounded Smoothies Hedge Lord

For as fun as Grounded can be in terms of crafting and exploration, it's also a pretty tough survival game, depending on the chosen game difficulty, of course. Finding clean sources of water and nutritional meals can feel like a tedious task while playing.

Hedge Lord is a smoothie that can relieve a lot of worry and annoyance when it comes to managing one's thirst and hunger meters. It consists of Berry Chunk, Aphid Honeydew, and Acorn Bits. It's nice knowing that the smoothie made of arguably the most delicious ingredients might be the one players end up crafting and using the most thanks to its usefulness.

4 Boost Juice

Grounded Smoothies Boost Juice

Crafting a safe haven and surviving the dangers of a backyard requires a ton of stamina. People can get caught in bad positions if they don't manage their stamina correctly during their adventures. Luckily there's a smoothie that can come in handy that raises the max stamina of the player.

A mixture of Mushrooms, Acorn Bits, and Raw Aphid Meat will result in a smoothie known as Boost Juice. The name makes it sound a lot more desirable than it is, but when a stamina boost is all that stands between death or a nifty escape players won't be thinking about chomping down on raw aphid meat.

3 Fuzz On The Rocks

Grounded Smoothies Fuzz on the Rocks

Grounded is a game that features a bunch of children being shrunken down in a backyard and tasked with surviving. Kids love to pretend to be adults, so a smoothie named similarly to a popular alcoholic drink might perk some ears. The Fuzz on the Rocks isn't a placebo as the smoothie actually increases the player's max health.

It sounds much better than it likely tastes considering the ingredients needed to craft it. Players will need access to Clay, Mite Fuzz, and Pebblets in order to serve up their own Fuzz on the Rocks. Most things that are good for people don't tend to taste all that great, and this smoothie is just another example of that.

2 Green Machine

Grounded Smoothies Green Machine

Sure, the Green Machine is the name of the vegan smoothie at the local coffee shop, but it's also one of the better smoothies in Grounded. Those looking for what feels like never-ending stamina will need to consume one of these smoothies in order to gain the boosted stamina recovery speed.

A mix of Algae, Sprig, and Clover Leaf will do the trick. Simply head over and analyze the Algae to unlock the Green Machine in the crafting menu. Since it's made from entirely vegetation it'll be one of the easier smoothies to craft, provided a solid spawn location for Algae has been found.

1 Liquid Rage

Grounded Smoothies Liquid Rage

Honestly, this list could have unfolded in several different ways depending on how the person reading it plays Grounded. Obsidian Entertainment did a great job at providing a sandbox full of danger and mystery. The best smoothie in the game, generally speaking, might be one called Liquid Rage.

Once the player analyzes a Larva Spike they'll gain the ability to craft it with the use of Larva Spikes, Spider Fangs, and Red Ant Mandibles. It provides the player with enhanced attack strength, which is fitting considering how tough it is to get the materials needed to make it in the first place.
