Xbox Game Pass Just Confirmed One of 2024's Biggest Games as a Day One Release

Following much speculation, one of the biggest games of 2024 has at last been confirmed as a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass.

For a start, they can possess some strong materials used to craft the stronger weapons and armor in the game, but they can also be tamed through the use of recipes in order to pacify all ants of their particular kind and make them harmless to the player. In addition to this, players can also feed poisoned and infected recipes to Queen Ants in order to affect their colonies. Each Ant Queen resides deep within their respective Anthills, but players can usually find them, along with many useful resources, by exploring these areas thoroughly.

How To Find The Red Ant Queen

Grounded Ant Queen Red

In order to find the Red Anthill, players should head northwest from the baseball toward the Haze. The Anthill can be found near the border between the Central Grassland and Haze biomes. Having arrived at the entrance, head straight down the tunnel and past the small clearing where eggs are stored. Continue on until reaching a small area with some glowing mushrooms, and then head up the slope to the right.

Keep going through the caverns until finding a room with a shaft of light beaming down in the center. From here, a small entranceway covered with tangled roots to the right will reveal the Red Ant Queen. To access this area, simply head around through the tunnel to the left and follow it round in order to come face-to-face with the Red Ant Queen.

How To Find The Black Ant Queen

Grounded Ant Queen Black

The Black Anthill can be found in the southwest corner of the map near the large trash pile to the south of the sandbox. From the trash pile entrance, players have to descend down into the tunnels through the room with the light shaft and into an open section with some glowing fungus. Head down the slope and back down through the tunnel with a red wire running along the ceiling. Follow the wires deeper into the Anthill until you reach the Lab that is located there.

From the lab entrance, turn around and take the adjacent tunnel that is illuminated by yellow fungus and follow it to the opening where a further two lab doors can be seen. Turn right here and head down the tunnel where more debris can be seen. At the end of this tunnel, a small clearing will present itself — along with the Black Ant Queen illuminated by artificial lights.

Alternate Route To The Black Ant Queen

From the sandbox entrance, players can head down the tunnel and take the small slope upward to the left of the first open area. Here, players will find another tunnel heading deeper into the Anthill with the red wires running along the top. Players can then follow this red wire all the way through past the laboratory buildings that will eventually take them to the same lab entrance as before. From here, follow the fungus-illuminated tunnel again and turn right at the opening to find the tunnel leading to the Black Ant Queen.

How To Find The Fire Ant Queen

Grounded Ant Queen Fire

The Fire Ant Queen is found in the Fire Anthill, which is one of the toughest in the game to enter due to the number of enemies present. There are several possible entrances to the Fire Anthill; however, players should ensure that they are fully equipped to escape as well as enter, since getting out can be just as tricky. The Fire Anthill can be found near the lawn mower in the Upper Grasslands to the north of the pond.

The first possible entrance is located directly beneath the lawnmower. Heading into this tunnel, players should follow it down to an opening that will have lots of marble deposits, then continue following the tunnels further down into the second chamber. From the second opening, continue to follow the tunnels past the light shaft to another opening where various candy items can be found, including an Ice Caps Mint and Hot Chachas Candy.

Heading up the slope will bring players to a room filled with Quartzite deposits, and another tunnel leading out of this area will take players down to a large open pit in the ground. From this height, it should be relatively easy to descend and find the Fire Ant Queen at the bottom near the Yogi Swole Head.

Alternate Route to The Red Ant Queen

Alternatively, for players who have a glider equipped, it will be possible to descend from the top of the open pit, which can be found to the south of the puddled 'wetlands' in the northern sector of the map. The Fire Ant Queen can be found in a small opening at the bottom of the large circular pit standing beneath a toy soldier embedded in the mud.
