Grindstone is one of the Apple Arcade subscription's biggest successes due to its, well, grindy nature. It's easy to pick up and play and lasts for hours and hours. But Grindstone can get even grinder, and is, care of a new massive update. The Daily Grind free update should now be available in Grindstone.

The Daily Grind update's biggest addition is a new mode that bear's the update's name. Each day a new Daily Grind will become available. It features four random levels for players to test their Grindstone knowhow against. And once complete, the player's score will be compared against the rest of the world's score on the exact same Daily Grind. It's the perfect semi-competitive way to test a Grindstone player's mettle.

But the Daily Grind mode isn't the only content being added in the new update. Grindstone players have much more to look forward to. A  total of 50 new levels are now available, making the total number of levels in Grindstone 230. There's also new gear to unlock via blueprints on five mini-bosses. If there wasn't enough Grindstone before, there's certainly more now.

Grindstone is currently exclusive to the Apple Arcade subscription on iOS devices and it's likely to remain so judging from how happy Apple is with it. Apple's even reportedly telling game developers to make their games more like Grindstone. It's perfect for what Apple wants, which is to keep subscribers subscribed and playing beyond their free trials. It's also a pretty good game, too, with Capybara's expected level of polish.

Grindstone is currently available on iOS devices via Apple Arcade.
