After installing Grand Theft Auto Online’s The Contract DLC, players will have the opportunity to buy an Agency, though they do not come cheap. In these Agencies, players will find computers in their offices, which they will be able to access once they have registered as a VIP. Upon accessing these terminals, fans will discover that VIP Contracts in Grand Theft Auto Online are initiallly locked, and this guide details exactly how to unlock them.

GTA Online: How to Unlock VIP Contracts

The first step toward obtaining VIP Contracts is to complete one standard Security Contract, which players can accept through their Agency computers. In general, these basic contracts are quite simple to address, and fans can confirm that they have in fact completed one by again interacting with the terminals in their Agency offices. When that is done, GTA Online players should leave the Agency and wait for a phone call to come in from Franklin.

This phone call will lead players to the Los Santos Golf Club on the map, and they will receive a mission called “On Course” at that location. Fans should then proceed to follow the mission objectives that are provided in-game until they have ultimately completed On Course and made their way to the Pier, where they will receive yet another call from Franklin. Players must then wait for one more phone call from this Grand Theft Auto 5 character, and they should return to their Agency computer upon its conclusion.

Indeed, players will now discover that they have unlocked VIP Contracts on their computers, and these missions can be initiated from there. At the time of writing, there is just one VIP Contract available, and it centers around tracking down Dr. Dre’s missing cell phone. While players will need to put some effort toward completing this task, the $1,000,0000 reward that is granted upon finishing the contract should be enough to keep fans motivated.

To note, VIP Contracts are not the only piece of content featured in GTA Online’s The Contract DLC, as the update also adds a number of new vehicles to the game. The Pegassi Ignus and Lampadati Cinquemila are among those new cars, and players may want to put some of their VIP Contract earnings toward purchasing one. There is also a brand new radio station called MOTOMAMI Los Santos, which fans could listen to in their new vehicle if they wish to.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S support coming in March 2022.
