It has been over six years since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, and indeed this multiplayer offering is still going strong. In part, this is due to Rockstar's continued support of GTA Online, which manifest most recently with the release of the Diamond Casino Heist at the end of last year, and now the developer is giving fans yet another reason to play by offering them a cool $1 million.
In order to claim this free $1 million in Grand Theft Auto Online, players must simply login to the game prior to Wednesday, February 12. Once that has been done, fans should expect their $1 million to appear in their Maze Bank Account within 72 hours, and from there they can proceed to spend it on whatever they please.
While $1 million may not be enough to buy Grand Theft Auto Online's Benefactor Krieger, an extremely expensive car that was added to the game in September 2019, it is still a nice offering, especially considering the minimal effort required to obtain it. Whether a player be a GTA Online veteran or brand new to the title, free money is free money, and many fans will be happy to receive $1 million just for logging in.
To note, this is the second part of a promotion that Rockstar launched at the end last week, which looks to celebrate a big moment for Grand Theft Auto Online. More specifically, Rockstar recently revealed that December 2019 was the game's biggest month ever, with players showing up in droves to participate in the aforementioned Diamond Casino Heist, and the developer has decided to celebrate by dolling out free GTA Online money.
Grand Theft Auto Online players are not the only ones that Rockstar is currently showering with gifts, though, as fans can also pickup some free items by logging into Red Dead Online, the multiplayer component of Red Dead Redemption 2. More specifically, players that jump onto RDO right now will obtain a free Red Dead Online Bounty Hunter license, 25 Bolas, and 25 Tracking Arrows. However, fans that would like to obtain these rewards will need to act fast, as they must login to RDO by Monday, February 10.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
