Valentine's Day is coming to Grand Theft Auto Online and as, the saying goes, diamonds are a criminal's best friend. Rockstar is celebrating the holiday with a special offering for Grand Theft Auto Online players. To celebrate the holiday, players will be able to a boosted cash haul for completing The Diamond Casino Heist. That's not all, though. Several other Heists will be paying double, plus there're great deals on Valentine's Day clothing items and a selection of awesome vehicles.

The diamonds are what most Grand Theft Auto Online players are interested in, of course. According to Rockstar, the holiday reward for Valentine's Day will come via one big heist. Each player's first completion of The Diamond Casino Heist will result in a huge 50% increase to the Heist's cash rewards. Rockstar says that subsequent runs of The Diamond Casino Heist will have a "reduced chance of grabbing more ice."

Luckily, in place of running The Diamond Casino Heist multiple times, players can earn good amounts of cash from several other Heists. For the next week, The Fleeca Job, Prison Break, and the Series A Heists will all pay out double their usual rewards.

Double rewards, including both GTA$ and RP, will also be available in several Adversary Modes. These include Offense Defense, Hasta La Vista, Lost vs. Damned, and Till Death Do Us Part. For those needing a bit more cash, nightclub income will also be doubled this week.

All that Valentine's Day cash will be useful given Rockstar's new selection of discounted clothes, vehicles, real estate, and weapons. Players get 30% off all Valentine's Day clothing items, which players will have to try on to discover. There's 35% off all facilities, high-end apartments, nightclubs, and terrorbyte locations. As for weapons, SMGs, Assault Rifles, and Sniper Rifles are all discounted 40% off.  The list of discounted vehicles is simply too long to summarize.

It's unclear exactly how long Grand Theft Auto Online's Valentine's Day special will last. Players who want to ensure they get as much out of the event as possible may want to make the most out of this weekend. The event may end up lasting a full week, but again, Rockstar doesn't clarify in its official post for Valentine's Day. Like love, Grand Theft Auto Online rewards can be fleeting.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
