Some Grand Theft Auto 6 fans think that they've figured out the actors that are playing the main characters in Rockstar's new game. Unfortunately for Rockstar Games, there was a massive Grand Theft Auto 6 hack recently that saw over 90 videos of the in-development project hit the Internet. This included videos of two characters who will presumably be the main protagonists of the new game.

The huge Grand Theft Auto 6 leak backed up previous leaks about the game's main playable characters, like how they will apparently consist of one male character and one female character. According to the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks, the characters will be named Jason and Lucia, though fans should keep in mind that nothing about them has been confirmed by Rockstar Games in an official capacity.

It's unlikely that Rockstar will reveal any concrete info on Jason or Lucia any time in the near future, especially if the leaked GTA 6 release window of 2025 is accurate. In the meantime, those on the GTA forums have taken it upon themselves to try to figure out who could be playing these characters based on what was seen in the leaks, and they have come to the conclusion that Alexandra C. Echavarri is playing Lucia, while Jason is being played by Bryan Zampella. As pointed out by Comic Book, Echavarri's online resume once claimed that she was in a Rockstar Games project, lending more credibility to the theory that she is going to play Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Both Echavarri and Zampella have numerous acting credits to their names, but neither are mainstream stars. This is in line with how Rockstar has cast its characters in its games, often going with lesser-known actors. There have been times when Rockstar has featured celebrities in its projects, like when Dr. Dre played himself in Grand Theft Auto Online, but celebrity involvement is an exception to the rule.

Sometimes being in a Rockstar Games project can give a boost to one's career. A great example of this is Trevor actor Steven Ogg, whose career mainly consisted of small television roles until his breakout performance in Grand Theft Auto 5. Since then, Ogg has had roles in hit TV series like Better Call Saul,The Walking Dead, and Westworld, and he also appeared in the critically-acclaimed indie drama film The Short History of the Long Road. Time will tell if Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a similar impact for Echavarri and Zampella, assuming they are indeed playing the game's main characters as rumored.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development.
