Grand Theft Auto offers players an extensive collection of amusing activities to fill in the void between the game's vicious main missions. Many of these activities can be discovered by exploring unique areas, while others are introduced to the player as they encounter unique NPCs.

From playing golf to skydiving, there is no shortage of fun pastimes the player can take part in. The leisurely breaks featured in Grand Theft Auto have charm, and some consider their addition to be the series' most enjoyable feature. The vast array of leisurely pursuits showcased throughout each installment has led fans to wonder if Rockstar can improve on these activities, or perhaps create more, in Grand Theft Auto 6.

10 Bowling

The bowling activity was introduced in Grand Theft Auto 4 and was arguably the most enjoyable side activity featured in the game. Though its gameplay mechanics are impressive, the activity is mostly regarded as iconic due to Roman Bellic, a character known for his insatiable love for the game.

Some were disappointed by the activity's absence in Grand Theft Auto 5. Fans can only hope the developers noticed this reaction, and will reintroduce it in the upcoming sequel.

9 Skydiving

Skydiving into a pool challenge in GTA online

Upon completing the optional Risk Assessment mission in Grand Theft Auto 5, Franklin gains the option to partake in parachuting missions. Normally, jumping from a helicopter positioned thousands of feet above ground provides an incredible rush of adrenaline, but the missions themselves are lacking.

Skydiving events would be fantastic side activities to include in Grand Theft Auto 6 if Rockstar made them more enjoyable. Instead of flying through rings on one's descent, perhaps the goal could be to avoid obstacles. The potential the activity has is hard to ignore, so it would be a shame to waste it.

8 Eight-Ball

Eight-ball, or pool, is a game that has only appeared in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto 4. It is one of the more tactical mini-games present in the series, so its absence in Grand Theft Auto 5 was a saddening one for fans.

If this activity were to return to Grand Theft Auto 6, it could function as a single-player game where the player competes against an NPC. It could also have a multiplayer mode where the player could compete against other players in real-time.

7 Running Triathlons

Running a triathlon in Grand Theft Auto 5 is nearly as difficult as running one in real life. The triathlons available in this game can take anywhere between ten and thirty minutes to complete, so a great deal of dedication is required to even contemplate competing in one.

The inclusion of triathlon events in Grand Theft Auto 6 would allow players to explore the new city the game is based in. If the game includes the ability to increase one's stamina, a triathlon could entice players to rise to the challenge and train in the hope of finishing in first place.

6 Stunt Races

Racing has always been a fundamental feature in the Grand Theft Auto series, and has grown even more popular through the inclusion of stunt races in Grand Theft Auto Online. The online stunt races allow players to compete against one another on the most ridiculous racetracks imaginable, but the best ones can only be experienced online.

Stunt races are undoubtedly the most bizarre types of races seen throughout the absurd Grand Theft Auto series. Seamlessly blending them into Grand Theft Auto 6's single-player would be a relatively simple task if approached correctly.

5 Police Dispatch

One of the most enjoyable side activities in the Grand Theft Auto series sees the player stealing a police vehicle, impersonating a police officer, and delivering criminals to justice in any way they can. The player is tasked with either chasing these lawbreakers down or tracking them to their hideouts

With the upgraded combat mechanics Grand Theft Auto 6 will surely have, the developers will have the opportunity to incorporate new scenarios in which the game's protagonist can enact their justice.

4 Comedy Shows

Ricky Gervais and Katt Williams in GTA 4

Grand Theft Auto 4 gave the player the option to partake in nights of joy and laughter with its inclusion of the Split Sides Comedy Club, a venue wherein celebrities like Ricky Gervais and Katt Williams would perform comedy sets in front of an audience of NPCs.

The decision to include actual comedians, as opposed to the fictional characters fans were typically used to, was refreshing and assisted in gaining a player's investment in optional pursuits. Perhaps an array of new celebrities could lend their performances to the series if comedy clubs were to come back in Grand Theft Auto 6.

3 Concerts

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories marked Phil Collins' musical debut in Grand Theft Auto, but since his appearance, there have been very few musicians who have gotten as much screen time as he did. If the player wished, they could visit the Vice City Arena to see Collins in concert.

With Grand Theft Auto Online featuring more and more musical talent with each update, the possibility of concerts returning in Grand Theft Auto 6 is not unlikely.

2 Golf

The golf mini-game in Grand Theft Auto 5 is without question one of the most therapeutic side activities present in the series. The fast-paced nature of the game's story seldom offers the player respite, but with golf, the player can release their frustrations through less illegal means.

Golf would make a great addition to Grand Theft Auto 6. It was an enjoyable activity in Grand Theft Auto 5, but with only one golf course, it became mundane quickly. Perhaps its sequel could include multiple golf courses to lessen its monotony.

1 Pizza Deliveries

For those who want to unleash their inner Peter Parker, the Pizza Boy missions available in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will satisfy their appetites. The activity itself requires Tommy or CJ to deliver pizzas to different locations across the city within the given time limit.

Though this activity is a far cry from the more gruesome ones seen throughout the series, it can serve to be an excellent change of pace. Its absence since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is even more reason for it to return from its hiatus in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is now in development.
