According to a report from the BBC, the GTA6 hacker Arion Kurtaj used an Amazon Fire Stick to break into the Rockstar Games database. Even more unbelievable is that the attack itself was carried out in a hotel room in England, where the police were holding him after hacking into Nvidia. While being detained, Kurtaj was unable to go online using any traditional means, so he used the Amazon Fire Stick that was connected to the TV in the hotel room for online access. He then got his hands on a keyboard, mouse, and a smartphone to pull off one of the most damaging leaks in video game history.

Kurtaj was not the only Grand Theft Auto 6 hacker, as an unnamed 17-year-old teenager was also involved in the crime. The two of them are part of an online group of digital terrorists known as Lapsus$, a group that’s famous for attacking major tech companies like Ubisoft, Microsoft, and Samsung.
