With Red Dead Redemption 2 having launched two years ago, fans of Rockstar Games are clamoring for news on the rumored Grand Theft Auto 6. The latest round of "leaks" and rumors point to the game being revealed by the end of the month, which a new "leak" has corroborated, along with additional details about what the upcoming open world game will entail.

This leak comes from 4chan, so fans should take it with a massive grain of salt. However, enough legitimate video game leaks have come from 4chan, including Rockstar-related leaks, that fans can't just ignore them completely. According to the leak, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be announced at the end of March, the game will take place in Vice City, and there will be a singular, male protagonist. This contradicts previous rumors about GTA 6 that hinted at playable brother and sister protagonists.

Other details in the supposed leak point to Grand Theft Auto 6 being largely about drug dealing and cartels, with a returning weapon wheel. The game will also have a massive map that will take full advantage of next-generation technology. As far as the GTA Online portion goes, GTA 6 will supposedly have a dedicated role-play mode in response to the popular GTA 5 role-play servers.

None of this has been confirmed by Rockstar and it's more likely to be entirely fake than it is real. However, this isn't the first time that a possible GTA 6 March reveal date has been hinted at recently. Other "leakers" have made similar claims, and it will be interesting to see if there's truth behind any of it or if these leaks are just using each other to try to make their false information sound more legitimate.

If a Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal does take place this month as rumored, it should immediately legitimize or disprove the various leaks and rumors that have been going around about the game. The biggest being that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City, which seems to be a common theme for the leaks. Some more ambitious leaks have said that GTA 6 will feature multiple cities, but that remains to be seen.

Unfortunately for GTA 6 fans starved for info about the game, there's no clear indication when they will finally learn more in an official capacity. Until then, they can expect to continue seeing plenty of GTA 6 rumors and leaks, and will have to decide for themselves if they want to believe them or not.
