Narmaya is one of the best Granblue Fantasy: Relink characters in terms of sheer damage output. She might not be as simple to play as some others, but her kit greatly rewards those with the skill to pull off her combos and the patience to wait for her strongest moves.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink - How Long To Beat

Granblue Fantasy: Relink offers a ton of content, but how long will it take gamers to finish all of it? This guide provides the answer.

If you're looking for a Granblue Fantasy: Relink DPS character, then Narmaya should definitely be on your radar. In this guide, we'll show you the most important parts of her kit as well as the gear and teammates you should be using when taking her out on a quest.

Narmaya's post battle pose in Granblue Fantasy Relink

Narmaya is a damage dealer with a heavy emphasis on using her unique stance mechanic — she can freely swap between Dawnfly and Freeflutter stances, which excel in AOE and single-target damage, respectively. As such, most of her damage comes from basic attacks, combo finishers, and charged attacks from Dawnfly Stance.

Mastering both the Dawnfly and Freeflutter stances is the key to unlocking Narmaya's damage potential. This makes her a very technical character whose power relies more on player input than skill meters or power gauges. Narmaya can be a little confusing to use at first, but once you get the flow of her attacks down, she easily becomes one of the best DPS characters in the game for hunting bosses and farming EXP/MSP.

Basic Narmaya Combo

Freeflutter Stance is going to be your main stance for most combat encounters. At the end of its main attack combo, you can immediately press your Unique Action button (RMB/Triangle/Y) to perform a Dawnfly Finisher, which unleashes a set of quick slashes. The important thing about the Dawnfly Finisher is that if you perform a charged attack after the final horizontal slash, its charge time is significantly reduced. With that said, your main combo is going to look something like this:

  • Freeflutter Combo Dawnfly Finisher Dawnfly Charged Attack Freeflutter FinisherRepeat

You can also follow up Link Attacks with the finishers of either stance. After connecting with the LInk Attack, press your Unique Action button to immediately kick off the hardest-hitting part of Narmaya's combo.

Best Weapons and Sigils for Narmaya

Narmaya's Fluorithium Blade in Granblue Fantasy Relink

As a main DPS, you'll want to have high Attack and Critical Hit stats for Narmaya. The craftable Fluorithium Blade comes with Critical Hit Rate Lv. 5, which lets you open up a Sigil slot for a different damage booster like Stamina or Critical Damage.

Speaking of Sigils, you'll want the majority of your slots to be occupied by offensive bonuses paired with one or two defensive ones. Good Sigils for Narmaya include:

  • War Elemental Sigil - All your attacks count as the element your target is weak against.
  • Attack - Boosts your Attack stat.
  • Critical Hit Rate/Critical Damage - Increases your critical hit chance and damage respectively.
  • Stamina - Increases your Attack stat while in full health.
  • Combo Booster - Increases the damage of each successive hit in a combo.
  • Aegis - Raises your max HP proportional to your current HP.
  • Guts - Survive a lethal hit with 1 HP; the effect has a 10-minute cooldown.

Best Narmaya Skills

Narmaya's best skills in Granblue Fantasy Relink

As mentioned, most of Narmaya's damage comes from her basic attacks and combos. She isn't as skill-reliant as other characters, but nonetheless, you shouldn't ignore her abilities. There's a variety of skills to choose from, but if you're looking to maximize Narmaya's damage output, use the following:

Skill

Description

Notes

Kyokasuigetsu

Dash forward and slash the first target you hit. Deals more damage depending on the number of butterflies you have.

A basic gap-closer. Always take this with you to minimize DPS downtime.

Apex of Nothingness

Narmaya readies to parry and counter. On a successful parry, deal damage, inflict Slow, and remove 1 buff from the enemy. Damage and debuff duration scales based on butterfly count.

Use this instead of dodging or blocking.

Dance of Pink Petals

Gain ATK, Supplementary DMG, and Stoutheart. Also grants 3 additional butterflies.

Massive self-buff that stacks with buffs from teammates.

Setsuna

A devastating attack that must be charged up to deal maximum damage. Butterfly count affects charge time.

Narmaya's hardest-hitting attack. Only use it when you have at least three butterflies and are attacking a stunned enemy.

Both Apex of Nothingness and Setsuna rely heavily on timing. If you're having difficulty landing these skills reliably, swap them out for Crescent Moon and Transient, respectively. Crescent Moon is a ranged attack that also makes Narmaya dodge backward, making it a great emergency movement tool. Meanwhile, Transient deals respectable damage to single targets and crowds depending on which stance you use it in.

Best Narmaya Team Compositions

team comp featuring narmaya in Granblue Fantasy Relink

Narmaya easily fits the boots of your party's main damage dealer. As such, you'll want to spend your Crewmate Cards and fill the other party slots with characters who can complement her strengths. While you don't necessarily need to follow a strict party composition in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, it's best to get into the habit of spreading out your team's weaknesses so they can fill in for each other. If you're looking for characters who work best with Narmaya, use the following:

Character

Description

Vane

Vane is an excellent tank who can draw aggro, provide invincibility, and inflict high amounts of Stun while also dealing impressive damage. He can give Narmaya all the time she needs to charge up attacks and perform long combos without the risk of getting hit herself.

Cagliostro

Narmaya benefits greatly from offensive buffs — something Cagliostro can provide with her Phantasmagoria skill, which enhances the ATK, DEF, and Critical Hit Rate of the entire party. Cagliostro also makes for a good healer if your team is in need of one.

Katalina

Katalina is similar to Vane in terms of personal power and utility. She trades the ability to draw aggro for a potent healing spell and a group buff that increases DEF and grants Stoutheart. Not only can Katalina keep the team alive, but she can also inflict Glaciate, giving Narmaya the chance to get some free hits.

Rosetta

Rosetta can compel enemies to attack her roses and apply various buffs to her team. Any effect that gives Narmaya a chance to land her combos and charged attacks is more than welcome.
