It can be difficult to find a game that doesn't contain some form of gambling in this day and age. To their credit, PlayStation exclusives have usually been pretty good in this regard, but Gran Turismo 7 bucks the trend somewhat. As well as microtransactions for additional credits, the game also features a roulette-style system through which players can win credits, tuning parts, and even brand-new rides.

The good news is that Gran Turismo 7 players can get a decent amount of Roulette Tickets without having to spend any actual money. They're made available very early on in the game and are acquired at a somewhat steady pace as players make their way through the campaign mode. A little later on, players will even get a few rare Roulette Tickets, which, as one might expect, yield much greater rewards.

How to Get Roulette Tickets in Gran Turismo 7

There are two main ways to get Roulette Tickets in Gran Turismo 7, the first of which is to complete a Daily Workout. This requires players to drive a total of 26.219 miles in a single day and will reward players with a 1-Star Roulette Ticket. It's effectively a glorified daily challenge reward though, so players will only be able to do this once every 24 hours.

For a steadier supply of Roulette Tickets, players can complete Menu Books for Luca at the Gran Turismo Café. These typically serve as bite-sized challenges, with players needing to win races or collect specific cars in order to complete them. Sadly, not all Menu Books reward players with Roulette Tickets, with License and Race-related tasks typically unlocking new tracks and courses instead.

Initially, players will only be able to get their hands on 1-Star Roulette Tickets, which they'll find in the "Gifts" section of their garage. There'll always be one vehicle, one set of manufacturer-specific tuning parts, and three Credit prizes (2,000, 5,000, and 10,000). A prize will be selected automatically, so all players can really do is sit back and cross their fingers as they watch and wait for the game to choose a prize.

As they begin to complete more challenging Menu Books, players will soon start to receive 2 and 3-Star Roulette Tickets as well. The former work the same as 1-Star tickets do, though the number of credits that players can win increases. 3-Star tickets, on the other hand, replace one of the cash piles with another set of tuning parts, while also providing another big boost to the number of credits that are on offer. Given how easy it is to earn credits in Gran Turismo 7 though, winning them from a Silver or Gold Roulette Ticket can feel like a bit of a slap in the face.

Gran Turismo 7 is available now on PS4 and PS5.
