Every month, Google Stadia Pro subscribers have two new free games that they can add to their collection. Now Google has revealed the free Stadia Pro games for February 2020, and it includes the platform's only exclusive game.

Beginning February 1, Google Stadia Pro subscribers can claim Gylt and Metro Exodus for their Stadia library. Gylt is notable for being the only Stadia exclusive game currently available. It's a short but atmospheric stealth/horror game that earned mixed reviews at launch. Metro Exodus, meanwhile, is a much meatier experience, serving as the third entry in the Metro series and earning stronger reviews when it originally released.

Stadia Pro subscribers should note that Gylt and Metro Exodus will be replacing two of the other games that are a part of the free games lineup. This means that Stadia Pro subscribers only have until January 31 to claim Samurai Shodown and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. However, the other free Stadia games will still be available to claim throughout the month of February.

Besides new additions Gylt and Metro Exodus, Stadia Pro subscribers can also claim Destiny 2: The Collection, Farming Simulator 19: Platinum Edition, and Thumper. It's unclear how long Gylt and Metro Exodus will be available as free games, so Stadia Pro subscribers should be sure to claim them as soon as they're available.

While Gylt and Metro Exodus are two of the more well-received games in the Stadia library, it seems like Google is missing an opportunity by not adding multiplayer-centric games to the Stadia Pro free games lineup. It's been noted that many Stadia multiplayer games struggle with their population, and it seems like making them free would go a long way in solving that problem. For example, both the recently released Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint have issues with maintaining a decent online population.

Destiny 2: The Collection is perhaps the most-active online community out of all the Stadia games, and it's no coincidence that it has also been a free Stadia Pro game since launch. However, its cross-save functionality may also be playing a role. Google may also have to push developers to allow cross-save and cross-play functionality on a wider scale if it wants its online multiplayer games to have healthier populations.
