Holm's role is currently unknown, but Variety confirmed that it will be a major and recurring role. He is best known for co-creating and starring in Comedy Network's hit series Workaholics. Godzilla-MonsterVerse

Holm will join previously announced cast members Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett. and Elisa Lasowski. Acting legend Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell were added to the cast in July. All of their roles have been kept under wraps. The Godzilla TV series was co-created by Mad Men and Star Trek: Enterprise producer Chris Black alongside Iron Man 2 and Thor: God of Thunder writer Matt Fraction. The former will be the sole showrunner for the series. Additionally, WandaVision director Matt Shakman will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer.

With this many esteemed action writers and producers on the production team, fans can expect high-quality action sequences on par with the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. The MonsterVerse series is known for its expansive CGI and special effects, so it is up to Shakman and his team to continue that legacy. This Apple TV Plus series is the most recent installment in the franchise since Godzilla vs. Kong in 2021. It is the first live-action TV series in the MonsterVerse universe.

Given that the Godzilla series tends to involve mass destruction and death, adding Holm to the cast will provide not only a character with extensive acting experience but also someone who is adept at providing much-needed comic relief. The release date for the series has not been announced yet.
