Enchantments
In the Amulet Of Yggdrasil, players have to socket some Enchantments that will further help Kratos stay on his feet as he knocks enemies out. The best Enchantments are:
- Three Muspelheim Enchantments: Increases Kratos’ Melee damage when the Permafrost, Immolation, or Maelstorm skills are fully charged based on his Runic.
- Kinetic Resilience: Combo finishers provide an extra charge of Permafrost, Immolation, and Maelstorm skill gauges, and the charge lost when getting hit is greatly reduced.
- Boon of Fury: Fury’s attacks and exit Rage costs are greatly reduced, but healing while in Fury is also reduced.
- Celestial Panacea: 25% Resistance to all Status Effects. This includes Frost, Burn, Blind, Daze, Poison, Shock, and Bifrost.
- Remedy of the Bifrost: Successful attacks against enemies will cleanse small amounts of Bifrost from Kratos’ Health Bar.
- Crest of the desperate Heroics: When Kratos’ Health drops to a critical level, grants a short invincible barrier, buff to Strength, and Health Burst when complete.
- Attuned Runic Gem: Increase the damage of Runic attacks when the Permafrost, Immolation, or Maelstorm skill gauges are fully charged.
Weapons

For the Blades of Chaos, the best build is:
- Pommels of the True Flame: Increases Kratos attack damage when the Immolation gauge is fully charged.
- Rampage of the Furies: Kratos launches a multiple set of attacks that keep his Armor passive active.
- Tame the Beast: Kratos swipes with his blades left and right, destroying his enemies.
For the Draupnir Spear, the best build is:
- Warrior’s Echo Sauroter: Spear attacks charge Maelstorm skill gauge faster and deal more damage against Sonic-afflicted enemies.
- Mountain Splitter: Kratos attacks his enemies multiple times from a safe distance.
- The Finger of Ruin: Kratos sends monsters flying with a devastating attack.
Using the Guardian Shield alongside the Rond of Deflection open a big window for Kratos to stay close, quickly deflecting and parrying incoming attacks. The Fury Rage is the only type of Rage that send Kratos into a berserk mode landing blow after blow, nonstop. Finally, Talisman of Meign gives Kratos around 10 seconds of melee buff to further increase his damage.
