The Raven Tears Armor is a great Set for players that love to fight while constantly healing Kratos in God of War Ragnarok. While the Cuirass of Raven Tears states that there’s a low chance for Kratos to summon a Healing Mist, the item encourages maximizing the Luck stats, which will further improve the chances of summoning the Healing Mist.

The other Raven Tears parts increase all Kratos’ Healing by up to 30% and further improve his Luck stats. The Raven Tears Set is easily one of the best healing Armors in God of War Ragnarok.

Raven Tears Armor Build In God Of War Ragnarok

The best Raven Tears Set build is the one that focuses on maximizing the benefit of having high Luck stats. Since it’s hard to achieve high Vitality with this Armor Set, players should not add the two Regenerating Essence Enchantments. Instead, use the ones that scale Kratos’ hits with his Luck stats.

Enchantments

enchantments in god of war ragnarok-1
  • Three Vanaheim Enchantments: Increases Kratos’ Melee damage against Status-afflicted based on his Luck.
  • Three Muspelheim Enchantments: Increases Kratos’ Melee damage when Permafrost, Immolation, and Maelstorm skills are fully charged based on his Runic.
  • Memento of the Ailing: The Permafrost, Immolation, and Maelstorm skills charge up faster when hitting a Status-afflicted enemy.
  • Boon of Valor: Valor heals less, but provides a powerful buff of Strength and Lifesteal for a duration.
  • Kinetic Resilience: Combo finishers provide an extra charge of the Permafrost, Immolation, and Maelstorm skill gauges and the charge lost when getting hit is greatly reduced.

The Vanaheim Enchantments grant Kratos that edge of fully benefiting from his extra Luck stats while the Muspelheim Enchantments provide an extra amount of Runic stats and scale his attacks with them. Memento of the Ailing and Kinetic Resilience work to keep Kratos’ gauges actively full to meet the requirements of his other Enchantments. Finally, to keep Kratos healing, players have to keep landing hits, which require Kratos to socket the Boon of Valor to switch his Rage from a healing effect into a Lifesteal one in God of War Ragnarok.

Weapons

Raven Tears Armor Set doesn’t require a specific Runic attack to match its combat style, but there are certainly some weapons’ attachments that would work perfectly with the Set. The Grip of Healing Harmony perfectly matches all this build’s buffs to keep the Leviathan Axe gauges full. Once the Axe’s skill gauge is full, Kratos will start healing when hitting enemies.

The Deadly Obsidian Handles for Kratos’ Blades of Chaos in God of War Ragnarok will keep filling Kratos’ Rage meter constantly. This effect scales with Luck, so it’s a welcome addition to Kratos’ Kit. Finally, Hind of Deadly Vitality attachment for the Draupnir Spear in God of War Ragnarok grants Kratos a Luck scaling passive that heals him on any successful Spear kill.

The Valor Rage type on Kratos isn’t the usual Healing one. Instead, players should always use it when they’re ready to take an aggressive combat approach. That will keep Kratos fully healed for a few seconds after activating his Valor Rage. Since players now have a never-stopping healing flow, Kratos can effectively sacrifice some Health to launch some devastating attacks. With Hilt of Tyrfing equipped, Kratos will sacrifice a portion of his Health to attack his enemies based on the Health he lost.

God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
