A God of War Ragnarok player managed to defeat Valkyrie Queen Gna in nine seconds on the game's hardest difficulty. In the clip, the player swiftly takes down the game's infamous boss thanks to a combination of amulets, buffs, and fully leveled weapons and armor. It is one of many God of War Ragnarok videos that feature gamers efficiently taking down the Valkyrie Queen.

Like its predecessor, God of War Ragnarok is a game that features plenty of post-story content. Its various quests range from collecting animals for Ratatoskr to wiping out groups of Einherjar who are still loyal to the game's antagonists. Perhaps the most memorable of the post-story quests involves Valkyrie Queen Gna.

In God of War Ragnarok, Valkyrie Queen Gna can be found in Muspelheim where Kratos and Freya may battle her if the player wishes to do so. The boss fight itself has a reputation for being the most difficult in the entire game though players have found ways to dispose of the new Queen with ease. One God of War Ragnarok player managed to defeat Gna in eleven seconds. Now Reddit user MVPtheMichael has managed to top that by taking her down in nine seconds. This was due to a combination of maxing out the levels of Kratos' weapons and armor, using a number of different amulets, and a specific set of perks that deal with the character's health level. The Valkyrie herself doesn't even manage to get a hit in before she's defeated, and begs Odin to forgive her.

In 2018's God of War, the vast majority of the game's optional bosses were made up of the Valkyries. There was also an air of tragedy about them as they had all been enslaved by Odin and defeating them released them from his hold. In Gna's case, she was chosen as a replacement Valkyrie Queen and harbors an immense hatred for Freya. After the game's main story, Kratos and Freya hunt her down, resulting in one of the game's more memorable post-story scenes.

When God of War Ragnarok was released, it was very well received by fans and critics. The game would go on to smash PlayStation's sales records by moving over 5.1 million copies worldwide in its first week. As of this writing, however, the future of the franchise isn't entirely clear. A New Game Plus mode is currently set to launch sometime in the spring, but the studio has yet to announce any DLC plans for the game. As long as the game remains popular, however, fans will continue to find and share new and efficient ways to take down optional boss fights and shock and amaze their fellow gamers while doing so.

God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
