One God of War Ragnarok fan has made a stunning replica of Kratos's first weapon, the Blades of Chaos. God of War Ragnarok continues the story of Kratos and Atreus as they venture into the nine realms from Norse mythology. The latest Santa Monica Studio title builds on the premise set in the previous installment, God of War 2018, where the father-son duo is on a quest to reach the land's highest peak. Kratos and Atreus encounter many formidable enemies during their quest, which they defeat using their weapons of choice, the Leviathan Axe and Talon Bow, respectively.

The Leviathan Axe deals frost damage and was introduced as Kratos's preferred weapon in God of War and is also present in God of War Ragnarok. However, Kratos uses another well-known armament, one he's been using since his time in ancient Greece. These are the Blades of Chaos, a pair of chained blades that inflict massive burn damage. Many hardcore God of War fans prefer the Blades of Chaos over the Leviathan Axe, and some of them have made a fantastic replica.

Notably, the makers have neatly recreated the minute edges and the exact shape of Kratos's weapons from the God of War series with precision, so much so that many Reddit users mistook the pictures for in-game screenshots. Naturally, several God of War Ragnarok enthusiasts on Reddit displayed interest in purchasing this replica of the Blades of Chaos. The original poster clarified that they are open to selling the replica of God of War weapons and that interested people should contact them.

The Blades of Chaos were introduced in the first God of War game in 2005 as Kratos's primary weapons. The 2018 title and God of War Ragnarok also feature the Blades of Chaos, but they mainly act as a secondary weapon. Kratos swore to bury them forever as they signify his painful and brutal past, but he wields them again in God of War 2018 to save Atreus. God of War Ragnarok players can also use the Blades of Chaos as a secondary armament.

God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
