A creative God of War fan recreated Kratos and Atreus's famous log cabin as a gingerbread house. Fans of the God of War franchise have proven to be quite creative and resourceful in their creations and tributes to the series. There are so many visually stunning characters and locations in God of War that are inspiring fans to create such compelling works of art.

In 2018's God of War, Santa Monica Studio took Kratos out of his homeland in Greece after he defeats the Greek Pantheon and brought him to the Norse world, this time with a young son and late wife rounding out his family. Then, God of War: Ragnarok and its stellar voice cast comes on the scene as a vibrant and powerful sequel to the game, rounding out the Norse saga and the relationship between Kratos and Atreus as well.

Redditor Morello created a gingerbread house-version of Kratos and Atreus's log cabin in Midgard, complete with storage awning, door, layered roof, and even the Norse Runes around the entranceway. Morello even sprinkled some powdered sugar onto the cabin to simulate Fimbulwinter falling upon the realms in God of War: Ragnarok. The level of detail in the cabin, especially the engraved Norse Runes around the entrance, is so great that the image looks like a 3-dimensional projection of the actual cabin from the game.

God of War fans are quite creative and have been creating quite stellar works of art through various media over the years. Another God of War fan made the Blades of Chaos out of wood, even burning patterns and such into the wood to give them an authentic look. Fans love the games so much that they can't help but put their creativity and talent to the test by recreating assets from the games the best they can.

Morello's post of the gingerbread house version of Kratos's cabin is but one of many such wondrous creations that have been inspired by the God of War series. Commenters in the post do suggest that Morello take a few bites out of the roof in order to be a little more authentic and accurate to the game. This is, of course, referring to the holes in the roof created during Kratos's huge fight against Baldur during the opening moments of God of War.

As God of War: Ragnarok reaches almost two months of life, more and more players are jumping into Midgard and the other realms, which means more such imaginative creations will hit the internet. Once the developers decide to take Kratos to another realm, there will be even more creative content that will inspire fans to create, invent, and build.

God of War: Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
