The action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima hasn't been out for that long, but it's already been praised for its cinematic visuals and cutscenes. Ghost of Tsushima features a built-in photo mode that allows players to capture stills of the highly rendered environments, and fans on Twitter are loving it.

Photo mode enables players to capture thrilling moments in battle, or even the impressively designed landscapes visible throughout the game. One user, @MysticRyan, said on the day before Ghost of Tsushima released that he anticipated the next day on Twitter "being drenched in photo mode screen caps," and he was right. The game tag is dominated by people sharing their screencaps, many taken by exploring Ghost of Tsushima's open world, with some users even commenting on how they might enjoy photo mode "too much" and then proceeding to share pics from photo mode that look amazing, especially for a video game.

Podcaster Brian Altano (@agentbizzle) gushed over how "utterly gorgeous and versatile" photo mode is, which he demonstrated by including some pictures of the player character, Jin, posing in front of vivid sunsets, or bloodied and engaged in combat during a rainstorm. Tons of users are manipulating Jin's facial expressions, weather, and many other complicated details to create visually compelling masterpieces.

For a story-based game, Ghost of Tsushima is fairly long and clocks in at around forty hours of gameplay divided into three acts. However, there's no shortage of things to do in the open world. Many players seem to be trying to prolong their time in the game to soak up the visual masterpieces around them by using photo mode frequently. User @Foxhound_Maisey posted an screen cap of a trail surrounded by autumn trees, with the caption "I'm never finishing this game." Other users had similar things to say, and are sure to find hours of entertainment and awe in crafting screen caps.

Virtually everyone in the tag has something positive to say about photo mode and how visually appealing it is, as well as the ability it hands players to master combining elements to create these compositions. Ghost of Tsushima has been called a "technical powerhouse," although reviews on Tsushima's actual gameplay are mixed. However players and critics view the overall experience of the game, photo mode has wowed the vast majority of the playerbase.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now exclusively for PS4.
