For gamers who want to experience everything a game has to offer, Ghost of Tsushima is a big one.

Ghost of Tsushima is Sucker Punch's new open-world action-adventure game that just recently came out on July 17th and is set in 1274 during the era of feudal Japan. The game has a lot of bonus content that pays homage to ancient Japanese culture and adds a lot more depth to the game.

The good news is that players can't miss anything in the game. There is always the option to revisit an area or look for something they missed. More often than not, though, players might pass by something that will be useful and it's better to grab it early on.

Using the Traveler's Attire can help players revisit areas to find items they may have missed the first time around. The Traveler's Attire will cause the controller to vibrate if Jin is within close proximity of a collectible, and players can use the Listening Mode to highlight that item through walls.

As mentioned, players won't "miss" anything in the game if they are willing to go back to an area, but there are activities, collectibles, and locations to keep an eye out for. If players are going for the Platinum Trophy it's easier to grab these items or visit these areas when they are nearby.

Exploration

Inari Shrines are essential for players who need to equip powerful charms in Ghost to progress through harder portions of the game. Items such as Vanity Gear and the Pillars of Honor are mainly just useful for players who want to change their looks as they ride into battle.

  • Vanity Gear
  • Hot Springs
  • Pillars of Honor
  • Inari Shrines
  • Haiku
  • Bamboo Shrines
  • Shinto Shrines
  • Duels
  • Lighthouses

Artifacts

Artifacts such as Records and Mongol artifacts do not serve an in-game purpose; they are purely meant for trophy hunting. However, Key Items and Banners will be necessary for making new saddles and progressing through the story.

  • Mongol Artifacts
  • Sashimono Banners
  • Records
  • Key Items
  • Singing Crickets

Satchel

These resources are found scattered everywhere in the main world and can be collected to upgrade the player's armor and obtain stronger weapons. These items can be spotted by searching for a blinking white light, meaning players can pick it up. These resources also repopulate on the map, so there is not a finite amount available. It's best to grab the big resources while players can, but they also shouldn't need to worry too much. And the resources that are really valuable for upgrades, like Gold for weapons, are included in mission rewards.

  • Wood (Bamboo, Yew Wood, Wax Wood)
  • Cloth (Linen, Silk)
  • Metal (Iron, Silver, Gold)
  • Supplies (Currency in Ghost of Tsushima)

Luckily, the game doesn't have players permanently miss anything.  There will be many opportunities for players to travel back and pick up items even after the game is completed. However, they are necessary for players who want to obtain rewards for each possible ending to earn 100% completion. Hopefully, this list can help ease the mind of players and get them to focus on the beautiful atmosphere and wilderness of Ghost of Tsushima that Sucker Punch has worked tirelessly to perfect.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now exclusively for PS4.
