Ghost of Tsushima's open-world adventure will take players across the island of Tsushima as they play as Jin Sakai, a samurai who is attempting to stop a disastrous Mongol invasion and protect his home. In the Iki Island DLC, released a year after the game's original launch, players can visit an entirely new location with even more content to discover, adding a couple of more hours to the journey.

For those that are playing Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut for the first time, whether on PC or PS4 or PS5, and wondering just how long it takes to fully complete, this guide will come in handy.

To roll credits and see the end of Jin Sakai's journey in the main story for Ghost of Tsushima (without the DLC or multiplayer component), players will take around 25 hours, give or take. It all depends on how long players spend on the side content, like exploring secret shines, bathing in the hot springs, chopping down bamboo, etc. For those who want to get the Platinum trophy for Ghost of Tsushima (or all the PC achievements), it might take upwards of 50-60 hours.

Now, to add even more hours of gameplay into the mix, the Iki Island expansion, which comes with the Director's Cut edition of Ghost of Tsushima, can be beaten in around five hours or so. And to do everything on the island, expect to hang out for at least 10-15 hours.

Ghost of Tsushima's Legends multiplayer mode, which some say was ahead of its time, can also add dozens of hours, depending on if you vibe with it or not. The multiplayer mode is completely separate from the main campaign, so players can feel free to skip it entirely if they desire. However, with the main story, Iki Island, and Legends, players can honestly spend upwards of 100 hours in Ghost of Tsushima.
