In Ghost of Tsushima, players take on the role of Jin Sakai, a samurai in the year 1274. As one of several clan warriors who survived being massacred by invading forces, it's up to Jin to stop the Mongols who have taken over his home of Tsushima Island and prevent a full-scale invasion of Japan. In order to succeed, Jin must master new combat techniques that allow him to take on this threat and also earn some unique PS4 trophies for the player along the way.

While exploring the open world, Jin will come across groups of enemies that can be defeated in many ways. One option is the standoff where Jin engages a foe in Ghost of Tsushima's cinematic style. Although players can only fight against one opponent this way initially, there is the 'All in the Wrist' trophy that requires defeating 5 enemies in one Standoff. Thankfully, this can be done after achieving several different upgrades in-game.

Fully Upgrade the Sakai Clan Armor

First, Jin needs to obtain his clan's armor by completing the story quest 'Ghosts from the Past.' It then needs to be upgraded at an Armorer located in places such as Yarikawa Stronghold. Players should make sure they have a lot of materials on hand because there are 2 prerequisite upgrades for increased melee damage and health. After unlocking both, the final upgrade to increase a Standoff Streak by 2 will be available for 750 supplies, 30 linen, 20 leather, and 6 silk. Fully upgrading the Sakai Armor also gives a 25-percent chance to terrify any remaining enemies after a successful Standoff.

Buy Standoff Streak Skills

Once Jin's armor is in perfect condition, he still needs a little more to bring his total Standoff Streak up to 5. Players must go to the Techniques tab in their Ghost of Tsushima menu and select the Ghost set. From there, they need to purchase the 'Standoff Streak' and 'Improved Standoff Streak' under the Standoff section of Evolving Tactics so they should save enough Technique points beforehand. Both upgrades give +1 and +2 respectively, allowing Jin to reach the maximum number of enemies during a Standoff.

Getting the Trophy

With the Sakai armor and Standoff Streak skills in order, players now have to go find a group of 5 or more enemies. Note that even after Jin liberates an area from Mongol control, there will sometimes be enemies wandering on the roads. After spotting a group, simply move up and press the Up D-pad to initiate the Standoff. Hold the Triangle button prompt until just before the enemy attacks and release it cut them down. From there, the remaining 4 foes will move in one at a time and pressing the correct button prompt will also instantly defeat each attacker. If Jin defeats all 5, a notification will pop up right after. PowerPyx's Youtube video details all the steps and requirements shown below to earn the 'All in the Wrist' trophy.

Although each gamer will have a different way of playing as Jin, everyone can appreciate being able to duel enemies one-on-one in the style of old samurai movies and anime.
