After a tepid launch, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has made massive strides to improve. While the game has done its best to perfect its PVP combat and grow its player base with a new Friends Pass, Ubisoft has not forgotten about its solo players. Recently, the developer announced that it would be adding AI teammates to the game soon.
Players have been requesting this feature since 2019. After the massive Ghost Experience update released, Ubisoft promised that it would continue to improve the game through player feedback.
In a recent blog post, the developer outlined its current plans for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. While Ubisoft is currently focused on fixing PVP and raid bugs, it is also going over player feedback for its next major updates. The developer ended its blog post by promising a second live event and the AI teammates. Both will release this summer.
Although players did not have much to do at first, Ubisoft has continued to show a commitment to improving Breakpoint. Signs range from an initial 2019 feedback survey to the blog post's promise that the developer was going through responses. With AI teammates, fans of the Ghost Recon franchise will hopefully recognize this latest game as a worthy series entry.
