For the most part, Sony has kept its exclusive games on its own systems, but that changed with the Horizon: Zero Dawn PC port. Since then, Sony has released Days Gone on PC as well, and has made its intentions clear that it will be bringing other PlayStation exclusive games to PC in future. While Sony hasn't confirmed which PlayStation exclusive is next in line for a PC port, some fans think it may very well be Sucker Punch's acclaimed open world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima.

Rumors of a Ghost of Tsushima PC port have started up again thanks to a post by Reddit user Dinov_. They discovered that the Ghost of Tsushima box art has seemingly be updated to remove the "Only on PlayStation" logo, which they have taken as a sign that the game could be getting a PC port soon. However, it's worth pointing out that other PlayStation exclusive games have removed the label from their box art in the past only for PC ports to never materialize, so this doesn't necessarily mean anything.

If Sony did bring Ghost of Tsushima to PC, it wouldn't be all that surprising. After all, Sony has made it clear that it plans on bringing more PlayStation exclusive games to PC in future, and Ghost of Tsushima seems like it would be a solid candidate for a PC port. Ghost of Tsushima reviews were very positive, and it is generally considered one of the better PS4 exclusive games.

Plus, it is likely that Sucker Punch is working on a Ghost of Tsushima sequel of some description. If that's the case, bringing the original game to PC would help expand the franchise to more players than before. And it stands to reason that some PC gamers may like Ghost of Tsushima enough that they could be convinced to purchase a PlayStation 5 console to play Ghost of Tsushima 2, whenever that comes out.

As it stands, Sucker Punch's next game remains a mystery, and it's entirely possible that it's not Ghost of Tsushima-related at all. Besides Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch has worked on other PlayStation franchises in the past, including the Sly Cooper platforming series and the open world superhero Infamous games. However, considering the success of Ghost of Tsushima, one has to imagine that Sucker Punch's next move would be capitalizing on that instead of going back to one of its older franchises.

There are rumors that a new PlayStation State of Play event is going to take place soon, so perhaps fans will learn more about the potential Ghost of Tsushima PC port then.

Ghost of Tsushima is out now, exclusively for PS4.
