Ghost of Tsushima is a beautiful and fun experience, so it's no wonder that fans don't seem to want the story to end. Unfortunately, it has to end eventually, but being prepared for that moment can lessen the weight of the blow. For those wondering, the story of Ghost of Tsushima takes place over the course of three separate acts.
That said, those familiar with the game will know that Ghost of Tsushima is a huge, open world experience, and there is a whole lot to do in each act and region. Players that want to extend their time with the game can do so with relative ease as a result.
In fact, it's even encouraged to do so, as certain items or weapons like the longbow are missable if the player only completes the main story quests. These items provide the player with more options throughout the game but also with more game to play.
It's worth noting that each act is different though. Though the first two are relatively the same in terms of length, the third and final act is significantly shorter. Users have estimated that it takes around 25 hours to beat Ghost of Tsushima if playing through the story quests exclusively, but adding in all of the extras and optional quests doubles that time to about 50 hours. That's pretty in line with what most expect from a AAA game at this point, so it comes as no surprise to see that.
Players can also free-roam after beating the game, which helps make sure that there are no missable trophies in Ghost of Tsushima and also extends the runtime by as much as the player wants. It's easy to get lost exploring the beautiful world of the game, so finding something to do shouldn't be difficult at all. Unfortunately, Ghost of Tsushima doesn't have a new game plus mode at the moment, but it is always possible that something like that will be added in the future via a content update.
The three acts of Ghost of Tsushima take players through three distinct regions of feudal Japan, 61 sidequests dubbed Tales of Tsushima, offers 52 trophies, and so much more. If players find themselves enjoying the gameplay, there's really no reason to rush through any of the three acts to finish it as soon as possible. Rather, players will have the best experience if they take their time in each act, thoroughly completing all that the game has to offer.
