With Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut set to release on PC on May 16, the port developer, Nixxes Software, has unveiled the minimum and recommended specs. Upon a quick review of the hardware demands, it appears that most players will find the required specifications satisfactory, given that much of the listed hardware is four years old or even older. Concerns were raised among players regarding the performance of the Director’s Cut, which encompasses the Iki Island expansion and the Legends mode, a cooperative online mode in Ghost of Tsushima.

However, there's good news for PC gamers. It seems that most setups from 2019, or possibly even as far back as 2017, should be able to handle the game's new port. With that said, below is a comprehensive list of the recommended, minimum, and best requirements for the Director’s Cut of Ghost of Tsushima.

For the lowest performance, players should use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. For the CPU, they should go for an Intel Core i3-7100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. Additionally, they need 8GB RAM and an HDD with 75GB of free storage.

This setup will grant a performance equal to a 720p resolution on 30 FPS. But for a smoother experience, Nixxes Software recommends running the game on a Solid-State Drive rather than an HDD.

To achieve 4K resolution at 60 FPS, players must opt for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT. They will also need the Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 for the processor. However, 16GB RAM and an SSD with 75GB storage will suffice.

If achieving the ultimate 4K performance is not a concern, players can go with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800. With these graphics cards, they can achieve 1440p at 60 FPS, which is the second-best performance preset.

The above setups are also recommended for players trying to run Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on 32:9 and 48:9 (triple) displays.
