Anthem was an open-world-style mission-based cooperative third-person shooter featuring mech suits and other technological advancements. The title was developed by Bioware and featured engaging suit flight mechanics that allowed players to soar through the air. Unfortunately, due to development issues, all future plans for the title were scrapped as of February 2021.
For fans of the action role-playing game Anthem, Amazon is currently offering a significant bargain. Anthem is an online multiplayer action role-playing game set in a world left unfinished by gods where a dark faction threatens humanity. Players become Freelancers, tasked with protecting mankind from the threats that lie outside their cities. They use high-tech, hand-crafted exosuits, known as Javelins, and set off to explore the world. In the journeys in the wilds, the players face deadly enemies and retrieve artifacts. Each mission strengthens the player and their Javelin, preparing them to face ever harder opponents.
Anthem allows players to select from a range of customizable Javelins, each providing distinct offensive and defensive capabilities. The visually impressive world of Anthem is created by EA's Frostbite game engine and features unpredictable conditions and hazards. Players can team up with others to face challenges together in groups of up to four players. Anthem for Xbox One is now available on Amazon at the discounted price of just $14.99.
