After exciting leaks, Genshin Impact Version 4.6 is expected to be a huge update, but the question remains as to when it will be made available.

The Leaked Genshin Impact 4.7 Characters Were Teased Before

Genshin's Fontaine Teaser

Genshin Impact and other HoYoverse titles often introduce future playable characters as story NPCs, and Fontaine is a great example of this. Clorinde and Sigewinne appeared in the Archon Quests, while Sethos was teased to come out in Genshin Impact Version 4.6 supposedly.

  • Clorinde: 5-star Electro Sword
  • Sigewinne: 5-star Hydro Bow
  • Sethos: 4-star Geo Bow

HoYoverse hasn't officially confirmed these characters, so the leaked information, especially regarding their abilities, may be subject to change until Version 4.7 drops in June. Plus, considering how Genshin Impact often changes characters' release schedules, it's still possible for Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos' releases to be pushed back to later updates.

Clorinde

Known as Fontaine's strongest duelist, Clorinde is tasked to duel people in the trials of Fontaine, where she racked up several victories, including one against Navia's father. Clorinde also served as Hydro Archon Furina's bodyguard, which may explain why her rumored kit is DPS-heavy with some support perks.

Clorinde is a 5-star Electro Sword character, who's said to be an Overloaded DPS, just like the 5-star Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino. Many fans were disappointed by this news because Overload team comps in Genshin Impact aren't reliable enough. However, Clorinde's addition might be Genshin Impact's way to improve the Overload elemental reaction.

Sigewinne

Sigewinne is the head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide's infirmary, who first appears in the Archon Quest. She is a Melusine with a "special body" that's closer to a human's than the race's typical faun-like appearance. Despite being a nurse in the game, rumors suggested that Sigewinne would be a 5-star sub-DPS Hydro Bow unit, which surprised many fans.

In the past, leakers have reported that Sigewinne would launch in the last few Genshin Impact updates. It was previously teased that she would be playable in the Fontaine chapter, but the exact version update and release date weren't specified. Past leaks also suggested that Sigewinne would be a 4-star character to complement Clorinde. But if she was promoted to 5-star, it's likely that she will be released in the second half of Version 4.7.

Sethos

Sethos is reportedly an upcoming 4-star Geo Bow character from Sumeru, making him the first Geo character from the region. Genshin Impact leaks suggest that Sethos might be connected to Cyno as he's allegedly from the Great Red Sand, and might even appear in Cyno's second Story Quest in Version 4.6.

Genshin Impact debuted Sumeru almost two years ago, which is why it's a big deal for fans to finally have a Geo character from this region.

There's no available information yet regarding Sethos' kit, but many Genshin Impact fans are predicting that he would complement Cyno's abilities. Cyno is an Electro character, and if Sethos is indeed a Geo character, they could be a viable duo in Crystalize (Geo + Electro) team comps. Some also speculate that Sethos might use sand-based Geo abilities, which could unlock new powerful elemental reactions, like triggering a quicksand effect when interacting with Hydro characters, or creating glass while interacting with Pyro or Electro units.
