Genshin Impact has a fair share of daily commissions to complete for rewards, but the Weasel Thief commission in Sumeru is among one of the most irritating for current players. Players may receive the Weasel Thief commission after reaching the Sumeru region, which was introduced in Genshin Impact version 3.0.

The "Hey, Come Out!" daily commission has begun to annoy Genshin Impact players according to a Reddit post by cero75. To complete the commission, players must head to the designated area in the Sumeru desert and chase away a Weasel Thief. The commission's description appears simple enough, but players must also observe the Weasel Thief as it digs through and emerges from four holes in the ground. Further, the player must chase after the Weasel Thief twice to complete the commission.

Genshin Impact's Sumeru daily commissions became a source of tedium for the fellow Reddit users agreeing with cero75's post. Players must keep track of the Weasel Thief at all times to ensure it's successfully chased away twice. Fortunately, the Weasel Thief daily commission does not have unique dialogue, so it's just a matter of heading to the location and carefully chasing away the creature. Although the Weasel Thief commission may become tedious, it's one of the shortest commissions to complete for those with fast reflexes as well.

Genshin Impact players aren't thrilled about the Weasel Thief commission, but various users active within cero75's post pointed out other daily commissions that are just as frustrating. For instance, the "Supreme Hookshot?" is a lengthy fetch daily commission that requires the user to procure specific materials to Kayvan in Port Ormos, Sumeru. Materials such as Sunsettias and wheat are acceptable by the quest giver, but Kayvan may request the player to fetch special bird eggs or peaches. Fetch quests are common within Genshin Impact, so players wish for a wider variety of quests. Thankfully, Port Ormos is home to a hidden quest in Genshin Impact that appears to be more intriguing than the Weasel Thief and Supreme Hookshot quests.

HoYoverse should take feedback regarding daily commissions to improve the overall player experience and options within Genshin Impact. Daily commissions are a recurring source of rewards and XP, but the tedious nature of these quests is starting to become apparent within the community.

Genshin Impact version 3.2 launches in early November with new story quests, playable characters, events, and rewards. HoYoverse should consider revising Genshin Impact's lineup of daily commissions in major updates such as version 3.3 and beyond.

Genshin Impact is available now Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
