A talented Genshin Impact player has taken online to share their impressive real-life replica of Vortex Vanquisher, one of the most powerful polearms from the game. This is the same weapon that's prominently featured throughout Genshin Impact lore and is most commonly associated with Geo Archon Zhongli, who is seen wielding it in both his character art and several of the game's trailers.

Vortex Vanquisher debuted in Genshin Impact as part of an Epitome Invocation weapon banner in December 2020. It took HoYoverse more than a year to bring the polearm back to the game for another limited 20-day banner run which occurred in early 2022. Genshin Impact players were last able to pull Vortex Vanquisher during a two-week Epitome Invocation event that ended September 9.

While the player base is waiting for Vortex Vanquisher to make another return to the game, one talented Genshin Impact fan has now taken to Reddit to share a brief video depicting their detailed replica of the popular five-star weapon. The real-life model is pretty much identical to the in-game asset and appears to be over six feet in length. The author even equipped the replica with LED lights so that the prop can emanate the weapon's signature golden brown glow.

Responding to a question on how did they go about recreating this impressive piece of weaponry, Reddit user Inspire_Props said that the entire process was "too complex" to fit into a simple answer. Their post history reveals that the author is a seasoned prop maker who's been creating replicas of various game weapons for over half a decade. The fact that their latest model features LED lighting and the overall attention to detail that went into its making are both reminiscent of the Mistsplitter Reforged replica that another talented Genshin Impact fan managed to create back in June.

With a base attack of 608 and a valuable shield-boosting passive, Vortex Vanquisher remains one of the best weapons for Zhongli even today, after HoYoverse added more than two years' worth of additional polearms to Genshin Impact. The weapon is also a decent fit for most general-purpose spear wielders in the game such as Thoma and Raiden Shogun, though its defensive passive makes it particularly suited to Zhongli, to the point that it's essentially deemed the Geo Archon's signature weapon among the fandom.

Genshin Impact is available now on Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Nintendo Switch port is also in development.
