Genshin Impact players have noticed an interesting in-game voice line that might hint at the location of Natlan, one of the major regions that are yet to be unlocked. The world of Teyvat consists of seven main nations, each of which is inspired by a real-life location and its culture.

Developer HoYoverse has followed an interesting pattern of adding one major region per year with Sumeru being the most recent addition. At the moment, Genshin Impact players can explore four different regions: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru. This will soon change as the recent Special Program live stream revealed that the release of Fontaine is just around the corner.

A Reddit user named Training_Cook_7284 has posted an interesting screenshot of a dialogue that can be found in one of the recently added World Quests named Recollections of a Fontainian. During this quest, players engage in a dialogue with an NPC named Augustus Lovelace who mentioned an interesting fact about one of the upcoming major regions Natlan. Augustus mentions that in order to reach Natlan, players would need to cross a desert which led many players to believe that this region borders Sumeru's deserts. This voice line gives more credibility to previous leaks claiming that Natlan would be located southwest of the Dendro nation.

There is not a lot of official information about this region other than that it's home to the Pyro Archon who currently goes by the name Murata. According to recent Genshin Impact leaks, Natlan's official storyline will apparently bring back a popular character who is currently dead and many players speculate that it could be Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, also known as La Signora. She was the first Fatui Harbinger to appear in the Prologue Chapter in which she managed to steal Venti's gnosis.

Another reason why she would be a great fit for Natlan is the fact that her Crimson Witch of Embers form allows her to control the Pyro element. Genshin Impact players hope that most of Natlan's quest lines will be filled with combat that would fit the overall nation's overall theme since Murata is also known as the God of War.

Unfortunately, players will have to wait for at least 5 to 6 months to find more info about the Pyro nation since the main spotlight in the upcoming updates will be on the new Hydro nation Fontaine. While HoYoverse is yet to officially announce Fontaine's exact release date, players can expect the new major region to drop around mid-August.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
