It’s quite surprising that the first Dendro character in Genshin Impact is not a main DPS. Although he gives off that impression, Tighnari is actually better suited as a sub-DPS.

The bonus from 4pc Gilded Dreams is potentially suitable for many Genshin Impact characters, but it especially shines on Tighnari. The Forest Watcher can easily trigger the 4pc effect, which can grant him up to 150 Elemental Mastery. Considering how the Dendro + Electro Elemental Reaction works in Genshin Impact, this addition is massive and can make a large difference.

However, since everyone will start Sumeru with zero pieces of the Artifact, Travelers can temporarily use 4pc Wanderer’s Troupe for now.

The best Artifact main stats for Tighnari in Genshin Impact is EM/Dendro/Crit. This is because many parts of Tighnari’s kit are affected by Elemental Mastery. For example, his Ascension Passive buffs his Charged Attack and Elemental Burst DMG based on his Elemental Mastery. Additionally, his best-in-slot weapon, Hunter’s Path, provides a flat DMG bonus according to his EM.

Because of this, Elemental Mastery is the better option compared to ATK. However, when it comes to Goblet, Dendro DMG Bonus is better than Elemental Mastery. This is due to the fact that all the flat DMG additions provided by Spread and Hunter’s Path will both be enhanced by the Dendro DMG stat. The same logic also allows Crit Circlet to outperform EM.

However, for those who are using Hunter’s Path, EM/EM/Crit is an acceptable temporary set. In all scenarios, avoid using triple EM artifacts.

Viridescent Hunt is exclusively obtainable from the Genshin Impact Battle Pass, while Blackcliff Warbow, Prototype Crescent, Slingshot, and Hamayumi are all F2P weapons. Windblume Ode is also a free bow, but it’s event-limited, so it may be unavailable for some Travelers.
