As their name suggests, Treasure Hoarders are a bunch of crooks in Genshin Impact who won’t hesitate to destroy ancient ruins and artifacts as long as it means they’ll earn some Mora in the process. In the game, players would typically see them examining spots in ruins or simply hanging around their Treasure Hoarders camp, oftentimes with worse allies such as the Fatui or the Vagrants.

Considering their questionable nature and intent, it’s also no surprise to see different Treasure Hoarder groups fight each other, and that’s what happened in The Dealing Sands quest in Genshin Impact. The quest is short and straightforward, but triggering it comes with no prompt.

The Dealing Sands Quest In Genshin Impact

how to trigger dealing sands quest in genshin impact

To trigger The Dealing Sands quest in Genshin Impact, head to the spot west of Mt. Mingyuan’s southern Teleport Waypoint. After gliding for a while, players will find some Treasure Hoarders fighting each other. Help defeat the red-health-bar enemies, and The Dealing Sands quest will automatically be triggered.

Once the enemies are defeated, Iron Dou’er will pull Travelers to the side for a conversation. She says that her group was making a deal with a Fontainian clan but got double-crossed and the Fontainian people stabbed them in the back. However, since the foreigner shows their true colors a little too early, it hints that the meeting between her boss, the Big Cheese, and the Fontainian’s boss will also be a trick, and she expects her boss to be ambushed all the same.

Iron Dou’er promised Mora and a grand feast if players chose to help, so now it’s time to head to the beach and get that sweet meal, especially for Paimon.

Now, glide further down to the small harbor and find a meeting between Johnnie and Iron Ming. Of course, as expected, the Pinky Club’s Pinky had been planning to dishonor their meeting after all. He calls for backup, and now players have to fight a bunch of Fontainian Treasure Hoarders in Genshin Impact.

After beating the bad clan, Iron Ming thanks the Travelers, and then orders his crew to throw the protagonist into the water. The Boss of the Iron and Salt gang believes that if players witness an illegal transaction, then they must be silenced through death. Of course, the protagonist doesn’t accept this, but that’s when the plot twist is revealed; Iron Dou’er and Iron Chuan’er are apparently not criminals, but rather Genshin Impact Millelith in disguise.

Despite being outnumbered, Iron Ming refuses to go down without a fight, so you must battle once more to finish The Dealing Sands quest in Genshin Impact. Finally, after all the excitement dies down, the mission is completed, and Travelers will get the Breaking Iron and Stone achievement, which is worth five Primogems.
