A Genshin Impact fan has recreated one of the most popular scenes from the famous Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. The game's developer officially announced a new permanent type of content named Genius Invokation TCG during the live stream event for version 3.1.

After two months of waiting, Genshin Impact players are finally able to play the new game mode as it was added today as part of the update 3.3. In order to unlock the new mode, players need to reach Adventure Rank 32 and complete the Song of the Dragon and Freedom Archon Quest.

Reddit user Stealthless has combined the game's characters with a scene in Yu-Gi-Oh that features a duel between the main character Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba. In this scene, Yugi managed to come back from the brink of defeat by summoning the legendary Exodia which led to an instant win. The fan-made video includes the original sound from that iconic scene, but it features some of Genshin Impact's most popular characters. Cyno is portrayed as Yugi which makes sense since he is probably the best Genius Invokation TCG player in all of Teyvat.

The creator of the video chose the Dendro user Alhaitham for the role of Seto Kaiba, probably due to their similar personality. Both are unemotional characters who have to ability to bend other people's will to further their own goals. The video was well-received in the Genshin Impact community as the post already reached over 2.3k upvotes. Some comments have pointed out that they love the fact that Qiqi is portrayed as Exodia since getting her on a Limited Character Banner is most players' worst nightmare.

A couple of fans claim that the video could have included the Mondstadt Dragon named Dvalin who would be the perfect choice for Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon as they both share a similar color theme. The new Genius Invokation TCG allows players to battle against NPCs from all over the world of Teyvat.

The addition of the new game mode is certainly a step in the right direction in solving one of Genshin Impact's greatest problems which is the lack of permanent content. At the moment, the Spiral Abyss can be considered the only type of end-game content, especially for players that have a high Adventure Rank. Since the game was released back in 2020, players have been asking HoYoverse for a new mode that is not restricted by the game's Resin-based energy system.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
