Eremite is a common sight in Genshin Impact Sumeru, especially in the desert area. Some Eremites are open-world enemies, while some others are normal NPC, like Atiyah of the Aaru Village. Previously, all he does is try to recruit the Traveler into becoming an Eremite, but thanks to the popularity of Genius Invokation TCG, he can also be challenged for the card game now.
However, Atiyah NPC Adventure Challenge in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG comes with an annoying Ley Line disorder that forces players to perform a clean sweep if they wish to win.
How To Beat Atiyah In Genshin Impact TCG
The easiest way to beat Atiyah in Genshin Impact TCG is by using Electro Hypostasis. This boss can solo the fight simply by performing the following actions:
Round 1 actions
- Elemental Skill
- Normal Attack
- End the round
Round 2 actions
- Elemental Skill
- Elemental Burst
Players don’t have to use any other cards or even switch to any other character. Just follow the moves above, and a win against Atiyah is 100% guaranteed.
Atiyah Adventure Challenge comes with the following Ley Line Monolith:
- Withering Corrosion: Starts with 4 Candle of Life points. When Atiyah’s card attacks, remove 1 Candle of Life point. Once all points are depleted, Atiyah wins.
This means players must beat Atiyah before he attacks four times. This can be done by defeating the card that’s supposed to move, deleting an action from Atiyah’s intent. Players can do so by using various high-damage moves or utilizing Elemental reactions.
Atiyah Deck And Movement Pattern
If uninterrupted, Atiyah’s Intent (movement pattern) will look like this:
Round 1
- Winged Cryoshroom - Elemental Skill (3 Cryo DMG)
- Hydro Slime - Normal Attack (1 Hydro DMG)
Round 2
- Hydro Slime - Normal Attack (1 Hydro DMG)
- Winged Cryoshroom - Elemental Skill (3 Cryo DMG)
To avoid getting Frozen, it’s crucial to ensure the Hydro Slime is defeated before it gets to move.
Deck To Beat Atiyah NPC Challenge In Genshin Impact TCG
The main star of this strategy is the Electro Hypostasis, but players shouldn’t mindlessly add the other two characters. For the most optimal play, Travelers should add an Electro Inazuma unit and any Inazuma unit. Having two Inazuma characters is crucial to activate the Thunder and Eternity card, which converts all Dice to match the active character’s. Since this guide focuses on solo Hypostasis, Thunder and Eternity will effortlessly turn all Dice into Electro.
Other than that, players should also bring the following Dice-helpers:
- Elemental Resonance: Woven Thunder (Electro resonance card)
- Thunder and Eternity (Inazuma resonance card)
- Kid Kujirai
- Bestest Travel Companion
- Toss-Up
- Northern Smoked Chicken
- Knight of Favonius Library (only use when possible)
Note that Knight of Favonius Library is quite a niche here; players can only use it if they somehow have one spare Dice (via Electro Resonance card or Northern Smoked Chicken), but it should help greatly for a better roll in the second round.
