One of the three final quests that Genshin Impact players must complete in the fourth-phase of the Festive Anecdotes series is the "Windblum Research Report." Like the phase three quest "Adventures in Windblume", in the Windblum Research Report players are tasked with taking a series of photographs around Mondstadt for research purposes.
To begin the quest, Genshin Impact players must first accept the quest from the Windblume Festival - Festive Anecdotes menu. After accepting the quest, the player's first objective will be to travel to the Mondstadt Library and speak with Sayid.
Sayid will inform the player that he is currently researching romantic songs in the library but requires a series of photographs to gain a better grasp of the text. After a brief conversation, Sayid will ask the player to obtain photographs of three subjects for research.
It is important to note that when taking a photo for Sayid, the player cannot use gadgets such as the Kurious Kamera, as photographs taken with gadgets will not count towards completing the quest. To take a picture, players must stand in the circular quest marker area and select the "Take Photo" function from the main menu.
If the player is facing in the direction of the subject, green text will appear on the screen informing the player that their photo is framed properly. After taking the photo, simply back out of the menu and the quest tracker should update accordingly.
It is also important to note that players aren't required to save each photo after taking it. If a quest photo has been successfully taken, a research photo will be automatically added to the player's inventory.
For the first photograph, head towards the entrance to Mondstadt and take a photograph pointing towards the central fountain. Once the quest tracker updates, players can proceed to the next location.
The second photo that players are required to obtain is of Flora the flower shop vendor. Several players have reported issues of not being able to complete th quest because Flora does not appear in her usual location.
This error is caused by players having also accepted the quest "Windblume and Snowflakes," which teleports Flora to the Mondstadt Cathedral. To make Flora return to her typical location, simply complete the Windblume and Snowflakes quest before proceeding with the "Windblume Research report."
After players have obtained the picture of Flora, the final picture they have to take is of the Anemo God Statue in front of the Cathedral. Once players have taken the picture in front of the statue, all they must do now is return to Sayid to complete the quest and receive 20 primogems and 2 heroes wit.
