Genshin Impact is simply teeming with a variety of quests for players to go on and reap the benefits of, and one of these side quests revolves around players answering a series of questions from a character named Swan. Standing right in front of the gates of Mondstadt, the Knight of Favonius 'Swan' will have a blue exclamation point above his head. After speaking to him for the first time, Genshin Impact fans will be gifted with a copy of the Knights of Favonius Handbook, a piece of literature that explains to readers all about the principles of knights.
Swan will then tell the player to read through the book and then come back for a little quiz, and after answering the questions correctly, he'll even reward players with a little gift for taking precious time out of the players' day. Players can read the book and study for the upcoming test, or they can simply keep reading this guide for all the answers.
Updated October 19, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: Ever since Sumeru drops, Genshin Impact has had some quests where Travelers must contemplate complicated situations and try their best to figure out the truth behind them. However, in the early days of the game, answering quizzes was a simple task. For instance, when players first arrive in Mondstadt and help with the Dvalin crisis, they can approach Swan by the Mondstadt gate and answer basic questions regarding the Knights of Favonius. Afterward, he'll occasionally send a commission that consists of three extra questions. This article is therefore updated to include the commission version of Swan's quiz in Genshin Impact.
Swan Quiz Answers in Genshin Impact - Question and Answer Quest
The quiz is a short one, with only a total of three questions, but they can be tricky for those not familiar with the royal text. Here are the three questions and their respective answers:
- Question 1: To the northwest of Mondstadt are some ruins. Legend holds that it was once a city where a tyrant ruled from his tower. It has since been occupied by Dvalin, who shelters himself there. What is the official name now given to these ruins by the Knights of Favonius? The answer to Q1 is Stormterror's Lair.
- Question 2: According to knightly etiquette, what is the proper form of address to use when speaking to unknown individuals encountered within Mondstadt's borders? The answer to Q2 is Strange yet respectable traveler.
- Question 3: What is Ms. Jean's official title? The answer to Q3 is Acting Grand Master.
Once the questions are answered correctly, the Question and Answer quest will be marked as completed and players will be gifted 5 Mondstadt Hash Browns, 20K Mora, and of course, more Adventure EXP to raise players' Adventure Rank in Genshin Impact. As for what these hash browns can be used for, they can be used to restore some health and also give players an extra HP boost to whichever character is selected. If players use Razor to cook the Mondstadt Hash Brown recipe, they'll have a chance to make Puppy-Paw Hash instead.

After completing the Question and Answer quest in Genshin Impact, the Commission version can now appear on the daily reset. Also known as Basic Knowledge of the Knights, here are all the answers to Swan's quiz in the Genshin Impact daily commission:
